  • We don't need to mock an actual disability. He has plenty of personal faults to focus on.

  • Young kids, not all young people.

  • People act like amending it is sacrilege, when that's what it was designed for.

  • Now that you mention it, that is part of why I found Deadpool and Wolverine to be so enjoyable. I know that other MCU movies also license music for their bigger productions, but Deadpool and Wolverine was over-the-top about it.

Damn. I would watch that again right now if I hadn't decided to cancel Disney quite a while ago.

  • I think there are many--possibly even most--"bad people" who have positive opinions of themselves. Dark triad and all that.

And then of course plenty of "good people" with self-esteem issues who will always have a bad opinion of themselves.

There should be at least a degree of objectivity when it comes to determining goodness. The bar might be low, but there is a difference between somebody who generally thinks of others (considerately) and who generally does not.

  • Fair.

  • But then there's a record of you being a cannabis user, which could lead to your second amendment rights being curtailed.

  • Mortal Kombat Romeo + Juliet

  • I remember when the former was called a film "score" and the latter a "soundtrack". Useful distinction.

  • Their education levels don't matter here. These are examples of things your parents are expected to teach you.

  • Many do, but those tend not to work very well.

Best practice (imo) is to just accept that the last little bit of whatever you're slicing is not going to be finished up on the mandolin, thus not getting your fingers too close to the blade to begin with.

  • Zojirushi rice cooker Cuisinart mini food processor/chopper Nice carbon steel Japanese knives

  • This fucker was deported straight back home to a comfy life. Didn't get to experience the typical concentration camp stay but is still ready to whine to anyone who will listen about how unfair it all has been for him.

  • It's also torture if the subtitles don't (reasonably) match for non-dubbed content.

This bothers me more with captioning for English language movies in English. They abbreviate a lot to make it easier to quickly read what is being said. Sometimes that makes perfect sense and is very useful. A lot of the time, they're just cutting out details for no good reason.

  • "...WE AREN'T PORTLAND LIBTARDS".

    Too bad, huh?

  • It is not victim blaming. The person who was forced to kill him is also a victim. They are both victims here.

Have a little empathy for the random people around you.

And you know absolutely nothing about my mental health history. You have no idea how wrong you are, and it's not my job to share my personal info to correct you.

  • Marie Gluesenkamp-Perez's name comes up on these "defections" with regularity. She is essentially a moderate Republican, but that's not a thing anymore, so she's a Democrat. Her district is historically rather red, so we are unfortunately unlikely to get anyone better there anytime soon.

  • It's horrible that he was led to suicide, but that's a shitty, selfish way to kill yourself. Someone else is probably now traumatized for the rest of their life after hitting and killing him.

  • There are waaaaay more tribes than that.
