I don't read DMs.

  • I use less of the single ply than the double ply. I think I make it 1.5 ply thick, or something. Anyway, I don't want a bidet, you guys have fun with that.

  • They're sold wet, they don't dissolve in water, that wouldn't make any sense.

  • Should'a been pulling it in a wagon.

  • If not for the snow and hills, I could get by on an electric bike for 95% of my needs.

But, I'm getting old, so not for much longer.

  • Well, they're BMW drivers, so I don't feel too bad for them.

    Disturbing trend, though.

  • I'd love to be able to grow what I eat every day:

    OnionsCarrotsBroccoliSpinachBrussel SproutsTomatoes

    Chickens

I have no idea how to do this, and I don't think I'd be very good at it.

  • I was in a Best Buy recently for the first time in over ten years. The poor folks at the Geek Squad counter lined up with their pre-built PCs needing help for the simplest things-yeah, most people don't have a clue.

In 35 years, I've never bought a pre-built PC, I've built my own. So, yeah, I'm not a typical user, even though I don't really know shit compared to many.

Installing Linux isn't hard if all you want is an OS to open Firefox. However, the minute you venture into gaming and video drivers, networking, mounting and sharing drives, etc. it gets a bit more hairy. The guy standing at the counter asking why the pictures he thought he pulled off his phone don't show up in explorer isn't going to be editing an fstab file anytime soon.

  • Advice does not rhyme with wise. Plus one for not using "advise" incorrectly, though.

  • A person's worth cannot be fairly measured in dollars.

  • Why?

    Why not look?

  • Originally? Meaning decades ago when they first started doing this, it was probably discovered through a patent search.

  • Hmm. I've never seen a difference between online prices and the price on the shelf at the store.

Are the prices lower than what is on the shelf?

Maybe this is something to do with New York. I doubt it's true anywhere else. Maybe other big cities.

  • I usually pay about $3 for a blank t-shirt. I have a few that are over ten years old, and they're still fine.

I have no interest in being a walking billboard for any brand. They should pay me to wear such clothes.

  • Till the cops get there and do what? Not go in? Because, that's what cops do at active school shootings-hide.

  • "Sam Altman says..."

    Who fucking cares?

  • Something overly masculine, like hunky or studly.
