  • Android has guest user/mode, even your screenshot talks about it.

  • Ladybird's main dev considers existance of anybody who isn't he-him to be a political stance.

I am more interested in servo browser now.

  • And now she is Trump's bootlicker. Just like her cousin with NVIDIA.

  • Just like we have Palantir, soon we will have Arasaka and Militech.

  • I completely forgot that there is some AI stuff on storygraph, because you can easily turn it off in settings and then you will never see it again. But I get what you mean.

  • I have been using Storygraph for about 4 years and I love it. It has so many good filters and options when you are looking for a book to read. Even the automatic recommendation engine is pretty good. I picked up quite a few books from there. I have never done that on goodreads.

Only thing I am missing from Goodreads are Author's pages. When you click on an author's name on Storygraph, it just shows you their name and all their books in infinite scroll and in random order. Not even chronologically or alphabetically sorted, or even by series. No, nothing and you can't change that. There is no photo of an author or their bio either.

I really hope they view change that.

  • I didn't know or forgot she played in that. I was putting off that movie for a while. I should probably watch it already. Thx

  • I was trying to find out who she is because she looks familiar, I am pretty sure she is an actress. She seems like Margaret Qualley, but what movie or show is this from?

  • When I was a kid, I was playing one day outside and then later I realized there is an ant nest nearby and I saw that I killed some ants by walking near it.After that, I didn't want to kill any more bugs etc, so whenever I was walking on grass, I would always check the grass before me to see if there are any bugs in it, and only then I would make a step.

Yeah, it was very slow and inefficient, but it wasn't that bad because I was actively avoiding grass and this whole experiment didn't last very long either, maybe a couple of months.

Then I went back to stepping on the bugs.

  • I use letterboxd for movies

    Serializd for shows

    Storygraph for books.

All owned by individuals as far as I know.

  • If pewdiepie is one of the most deplorable people in the world you know of. You must live in some kind of alternative universe and in paradise.

  • I guess that tracks because Thanos is stupid as fuck.

Trying to solve the resource problem by killing half of the universe just doesn't help. In a couple of decades, the population would be back to the previous number.

He could just snap his fingers and make those missing resources appear. Whole empty planets for people to live with abundance etc.

It feels like he thought of the problem for like one minute and decided to take the easiest short term solution possible.

  • I forgot what it is called but there is an extension that syncs bookmarks between Firefox and Chromium browsers.

  • Oh shit, one of those losers is here.

  • I did that. It was even bigger pain in the ass than I thought because the files are not alphabetically named. So when one file downloaded, I needed to rename it and add number before it. Didn't want them to mix up. For each, file it was such a chore.

Because this is a fan-made project, each file has at the start and at the end ads for patreon, reddit and stuff like that. So I used some kind of mp3 trimmer to cut all of them automatically. It was not perfect but passable.

I might still have the files on some external hard drive, so if you give me some cloud shared folder or something I can upload it to you. I only know about free MEGA, but they have like 5 gigabytes limits and the book is like 11, If remember correctly.

Or alternatively, as I mentioned in the original post, you can use some podcast app like AntennaPod and listen there.

  • Steam's 30% is the last of their problems, I would like them to finally start actually moderating Steam forums. Because devs of the particular game usually don't care. Visit some forums of newly released popular game and it's full of bigots, misogyny, trolls and hate. It's unbelievable.

    Go check oblivion remastered

  • I am currently using Storygraph, but I might switch to Hardcover. Their app is really good looking, if a bit slow, and it is very letterboxy, which I like. They too have lists feature which is a lot better than just tags, in my opinion.

I like storygraph a lot but... I have been using it for around 3 years and in that time nothing substantial changed on that website. They still don't have normal author page.
