  • In the US, the states make their own license plate regulations and choices. So, it varies from state to state, like everything else in this hellhole.

  • Oh interesting.. I think this is exactly my issue, I will definitely give the head and shoulders treatment a shot.

  • I was always told that it would go away after my teenage years. Now I'm in my 30's and still have acne issues.

  • Keep in mind Accutane is the nuclear option. I literally cannot have it because of how it fucks up your liver. You'll also be required to take monthly blood draws until you stop taking it, which can be anywhere from a year to two years.

Ironically, taking Accutane was how my liver issue was discovered in the first place.. I had to immediately stop taking it and I still get acne.

  • Does he have any power do actually do anything about it?

  • Relocating in country is certainly cheaper and has less friction than moving internationally.

  • scrapped grants to blue states who didn't vote for Trump

It doesn't affect the red states that put Trump into office, not in this specific case. While true that the states themselves do not vote, the electoral college is ultimately who puts presidents into office, and those electors are appointed by the state. In 48 of the 50 states, state laws mandate that the winner of the plurality of the statewide popular vote receives all of that state's electoral votes.

This is trump punishing those who did not vote for him, it's hard to argue otherwise.

  • Unless a state were to somehow set up an escrow account, somehow forced all businesses to pay into it instead of direct to the IRS, and didn't get tossed out by the courts, no.

The IRS would just fine everyone in the state. It's just not feasible, unfortunately.

  • I could never afford to live in Seattle itself, either. Living across the sound was the only way I could work it out, but honestly, I prefer living over here anyway.

  • Hey it's the account that always has something bad to say about Seattle whenever it comes up. Without fail, I know that if Seattle or Western WA is in the post, you'll be here, saying some shit like this.

You once said that people here deserved what was coming with ICE because people here voted in Dems that implemented gun control. A very sane and balanced take, to say that people here deserve fascism because they would rather not die to 30 mag semiautos.

I moved to Western Washington from a deep, deep red state (but a blue city) and the difference is night and day. I was represented by a Dem rep where I used to live, too, but he was a full DINO. My rep is progressive, and actually defend things like trans rights, public transit, and healthcare. Not only that, but the people in my area give a shit about my trans community as well. I have not once been "shocked" by the way my rep is voting, I've been happily represented by them.

I moved here so that I could survive, too. I don't regret a thing. Maybe you should go live somewhere else if it's just like other blue cities but worse? Maybe one in a red state like where I used to live?

  • Even just reading the word 'yawn' makes me feel the need to yawn. I gotta imagine that's because my brain is visualizing someone yawning when I read the word.

  • Not shocking. It's right out of the authoritarian playbook.

They don't want people to know what's going on, both in the US and internationally. It makes it so those in still in their bubbles stay there, and the fascists in charge also don't want to give opponents and resistance groups fuel, as the article outlines.

People outside of the country think that nothing is happening to resist fascism because they're reliant on the media to tell them that things are happening. Why would a fascist government allow the media or citizens to report on that? It's the whole reason the major outlets are controlled and owned by the Epstein class.
