  • Why do we sometimes have an itch that isn't relieved by scratching?

  • I get this sometimes, I think it's because the nerves that are actually triggering the itch are someplace else, kind of like when you get that itch inside your ear that you can somehow relieve by scratching the roof of your mouth with your tongue. I feel itchy now!

  • My dialect is confusing to some people. I was speaking to a Californian friend over Discord and I pronounce the word "Southern" in a way that she didn't realize what word I was saying until I clarified that to her, and she was like "yeah, that's definitely a different way of saying it". Another word that trips some people up is "decals"!

  • What are some portable devices that smart phones haven't replaced?

  • Laptops! I have a gaming desktop computer and also a gaming laptop that I use if I'm going to be somewhere other than my house for more than a day. Mobile games pail in comparison to what can be played on a decent gaming laptop. I wouldn't even think about trying to run even a rudimentary 3D game on my 3~ish year old smartphone which has 3-5 seconds of input lag for everything LMAO

  • Me and a close friend have this 2+ years long running inside joke about a particular city in England that nobody else would get. We could be talking about the most random and seemingly completely unrelated thing and the inside joke about the city gets interjected in. Sometimes I beat my friend to it by mere seconds!

  • Love uncooked wholewheat spaghetti! You can easily select a given diameter and it's easy to eat. I think the wholewheat version has this nice earthy flavour and it's a little more brittle than normal pasta. Craving some right now!
