  • Forced dark mode.

White font on a black background absolutely kills my eyes and I'll enable light mode wherever possible, but some sites force dark mode for the UI with no option to switch to light mode. I can read a paragraph and I'll still see that same paragraph in my vision for several minutes, even if I'm looking away from my monitor.

  • Besides worrying that my country might be invaded by the US in the not so distant future, I'm doing good! 😃 I've got everything I need and my health is good. I've got some slight art block going on at the moment, so I'm mostly playing videogames in my free time which usually tends to inspire me haha.

  • Digital drawing using Paint Tool Sai 1! I sometimes feel like the odd one out because everyone else seems to either use Clip Studio Paint or Procreate haha, but I love Paint Tool Sai so much it's my beloved. It was made by just one guy too! 😃

  • Pouring cereal before the milk.

  • These people literally don't know what mRNA is, they believe it's the same thing as DNA because it sounds vaguely similar. It's good to see actual experts calling him out though! We really need more of this.

  • Aw cool! Where about did you go?

Oh I've heard that about penguins haha. When I was younger my parents would joke that penguins are half bird and half fish, and I guess for the smell at least that's not too far off!

  • Visit Antarctica. Earth's most beautifully desolate continent that is further away from us than space is, plus it's cold! 😃

  • I like eating bones.

  • Chomp it raw. I think this habit of eating raw pasta came from my old habit of eating bones.

  • To eat cooked? Orzo! I love rice and pasta, and they made a rice shaped pasta. It's a win-win!

To eat raw? Wholewheat spaghetti or if I'm feeling especially daring, farfalle.

  • The one I'm having now! I have hyperthymia and when I have flare ups of it those can last for several weeks or months. For those who don't know what hyperthymia is it's basically a constant state of mild mania.

  • I remember reading that it would've actually cost a lot more for people to fake a moon landing back in those days than to actually go there. When viewed from above, the shadows in the Apollo photos are parallel because the light source is so far away!

  • A while ago, I was speaking to someone from the UK online. They were the type of person who assumed that all of the UK's problems were being caused by migrants, and they were outraged at an article which said that migrants and other vulnerable persons will receive priority care. They had no issue with other vulnerable groups getting priority care, except for migrants.

They then went off on a tirade about how "migrants are taking over" the UK. So, I asked them if they personally knew any of these migrants, if the UK is really being "taken over" by them.

They said "no" and didn't know what to say after that.

  • I remember figuring out on my own that the Earth is spherical when I was 6 years old and I witnessed big ships disappearing from the bottom up over the horizon.

  • Aw yeah New Zealand! I often have trouble telling Australian and New Zealand accents apart though, they sound really similar to me. Love Australian and Kiwi accents!

  • South-ern, with the "sou" rhyming with "how"

  • "Deckles" and it rhymes with "speckles"!
