  • Which part of my family? Parents and in laws when we can. Maybe 1-10 times a year. Cousins only at big events. Partner and I try to watch a show together or have sex once a day or so. After that I do my own thing before bed.

    Their phone addiction plus lack of emotional communication sounds like classic mainland last generation to me. I’m raining my child speaking more than just English and working hard to give them a leg up. I can understand how difficult it may be!
