  • No, i would have been able to buy a bigger home for nearly the same price due to the rapid increase in home prices. My neighbor had sold their home just a year or two prior for about $15k more than we wound up paying for ours, but the home is almost double the square footage.

    Still happy with our purchase overall as even apartment rentals in the area are higher than what we're paying in the few years since we bought.

  • It sounds like they hooked up their own water connection so the water utility didn't even know they were using the water. They can only measure usage by checking the meter attached to your hookup. I don't think its possible to measure the entire 'input' of water versus total usage like you're suggesting.

Strangely, a lot of them come with US coins glued to them, yet also ask for donations, so I am making some money off of it.
