The candidates are what drove people to sit out or vote 3rd party. Trump or Dick Cheney's favorite genocidal candidate isn't a choice worth making. The longer people like yourself refuse to face reality, the longer it'll be before we dig ourselves out of this deep hole.
This gets worse and worse as time goes on. Movies like Superbad seem like they just came out a few years ago but is actually about to be 20 years old. The Toby Maguire Spiderman is about to turn 25 years old, a quarter century!
I wonder if they could attack them from the other direction. Some individiual is making this vote as a "company" is just a piece of paper with no autonomy or ability to make a choice. I would imagine the person casting this vote on behalf of the company is also voting in whatever place they happen to live and AFAIK that's illegal.
The problem is that right now would be the peak of this information being available. What are you going to find in 20 years when everyone has abandoned forums in favor of asking ChatGPT for all the answers? There would be nothing left to train the models on.
Did it give a diagram and troubleshooting steps from the factory service manual too? This is all stuff you would typically find in forums. There's always some dealer tech around who can copy and paste from their service equpiment/library
Our key finding is that by injecting information through an external synthetic data verifier, whether a human or a better model, synthetic retraining will not cause model collapse.
Lol, so to make a great model, they just need to have an even better one available first or a human who can verify every single thing it ingests.
I don't think it's any coincidence that this is occurring at the same time companies like Palantir are signing government contracts left and right and mega-sized data centers are sprouting up all over the country.
Tell that to Gane of Thrones after the finale. People would go mental over the show while it was airing and immediately after the ending tarnished everything, they stopped talking about it completely. There's even a spin-off currently airing and still nobody ever brings up the show.
The difference is that Windows shittiness affects everyone using Wndows. This shittiness from Plex is (currently) only affecting people that are mostly new to the platform.
Just a slight clarification that their relay server is a fallback for when your server is inaccessible and still allows you to playback media at 1 or 2Mbps. Remote logins are handled by their authentication server which is separate, so that bulletpoint should be broken out into two separate items.
I used Emby for a couple years right before they went closed source which spawned Jellyfin and it was fine in some area (though not as polished) and better in others, but securely sharing remotely was always a huge hurdle which is not something they've found a solution for.
I have a lifetime pass so I have no reason to switch as of yet. Migrating people over like my elderly parents is going to be a nightmare if it ever comes to that.
Perhaps this is their first stage of foreplay before performing "the shocker" on his partner. Lubrication is important.
