  • After the first few years it became easy. Babies up all night were rough, with colds and ear infections. But ever since and now in their teens, its easy. I'm more worried about when they are gone to uni in a few years, and my wife and I become empty nesters. We're going to have to work on a lot more socializing. ;)

  • I was lonely a long time ago because I was living on the road doing consulting work. Always interacting with people, but no romance. What I did was build the life I wanted. I quit the road work, bought a house on my own and within 6 mos met my wife on a blind date from a mutual friend at work. Family life was perfect for me. I'd rather hang out with my kids than my friends.

That being said, I have a crazy high need/tolerance for personal time. At the end of the day when I crawl into my man cave, everyone knows to leave me alone.

  • But that isn't how greater foolism works. It doesn't matter how stupid one is, as long as there are others more stupid.

  • So I mostly agree, and the US drowns way to much of everything in it. Like why ruin perfectly good salad or vegetables with that as a dressing or a dip.

But, there is a chicken wing chain in Canada where they do a crazy amount of wild sauces. My favourite is breaded with a side sauce that is made of mostly hot sauce, grated parmesan and a drizzle of ranch. It's pretty damned good. For this reason alone, i buy one bottle of ranch a year and throw away half.

  • Google can verify I'm a human by not using Google.

  • That isn't necessarily a friend. There are a lot of unhealthy relationships that would do this also.

    1. Good cheap hole in the wall restaurant. Preferably, mexican, indian, japanese, korean.
    2. Good grocery & bakery
    3. Good cafe.
    4. Good proximity to work so little to no commuting.
    5. Nice place to go for walks at night.
  • ...and if planes didn't need to refuel at their destinations.

  • Lol. Well that fixes everything.

  • Jet fuel issues, flying makes no sense.

  • Side?

  • Democracy died in darkness.

  • That means room for new manufacturers.

  • No such thing. :)

  • Cool idea.

  • Canada, so no. :(

The price is nice. I doubt it is easy to repair.

  • Just drive it as is. When other road warriors see your battle scars, they'll know not to mess with you.

  • The market is ripe for the equivalent of a wileys jeep ev. Cheap to buy, repair and capable with no frills.
