Tl;dr: they give (gave?) money to omarchy, a DHH project (the RubyOnRails and Basecamp guy) who has made a fairly rapid descent from cringey tech bro to mealy-mouthed nationalist.
$100+ USD for a 6oz A5 wagyu steak. Certainly changes your perspective on the heights of quality for steak. I also paid $65 for a sashimi grade tuna Benedict at this place for brunch. No ragrets.

There's an apparently $1200 bottle of wine from a small napa vineyard with a wait-list for their wine in my basement right now we got as a gift. We're gonna need to find a pro who can help us taste that. My wine taste tops out at about $30 a bottle.
