  • Thanks for the recommendation! I've got around $300 to spend so I'm a bit flexible in the budget. I'll keep an eye out. Hoping to get a decent black Friday or cyber Monday deal.

  • Thank you! Really appreciate the reply, trying to find info about this has been less than successful. Specifically this happened after firmware 1.0.4 amd was supposedly fixed in 1.0.6 but seems to be nothing else after this to indicate if its fixed or not.

So a couple more questions if you dont mind:

What firmware version are you running? Any reason in particular you didn't update the firmware? And would you say you like the performance?

  • Personally speaking, I absolutely suck at math. It was and continues to be my worst subject. Likely to do with my adhd.

I was only able to really get up to and through basic algebra and some geometry in school. Past that, nothing else. I do fine. I'd say thats the minimum unless your in a field that requires a higher level of math.

  • I was recently looking for something like this and couldn't find what i was looking for, so thanks!

  • Very true, i had a vet that barely looked at my cat and after getting a second opinion and looking things up online, i realized that he sucked.

His vet closed a year after. Def not a bad idea to hear others experiences

  • Well it sounds delicious, and definitely not guilty of piracy

  • I am not familiar with that, I'm guessing potato supreme is a username or something?

  • Not everyday i agree with ISPs but here we are. Guilty of and accused of are two very different things. Innocent until proven guilty.

  • I tried umbrel and wasnt super impressed. It seemed like it would function alright for the small amount of things i was trying to do but broke shortly after installing. I set up pihole and i think jellyfin since i was just testing it out on an older laptop.

I've heard decent things about CasaOS but have not used it myself.

  • Shocked I tell you. I am shocked.

  • If you dont need the drive to be fast and want best bang for your buck storage capacity, HDD is the way to go.

If you want speed and are ok with a higher price, SSD is best. Used enterprise HDD are usually a good value. Im in the US so not sure about where to purchase exactly.

Something to consider is if the drive you are storing the os and files on are the same, using am HDD will make it slower on start up.

  • Shocked i tell you. I am shocked.

No way an app would collect data it doesnt need. Preposterous.

Next thing you'll tell me is that tiktok is doing the same thing!

  • 88 x 8TB drives? 704 TB of storage?

You got a whole damn data center lol. Good stuff dude. Was this off of ebay or direct from a company? I'm curious to know the total cost.

  • Iovance Biotherapeutics has priced the therapy, branded Amtagvi, at $515,000 per patient.

Well thank goodness these kind souls made it so affordable. And im sure it will come down in price after its really proven to be effective right?

I'm sure the RnD for this was expensive af but ffs man, even with insurance thats probably going to be out of reach for so many people.
