  • You're so cool. You can just throw your phone at charging plate to cook itself, while you can't use it. But it looks cool. Cool tech for cool people.

  • Wireless charging is a gimmick like 3D TV was. There's only one use case, and it's car use. But it doesn't need to be fast. In every other case it's worse than cable in every aspect

  • It's as if engineers knew what they're doing.

  • Python doesn't have enough snakes in their dev team.

  • I see coral. I'm mean coral. No wait it's fish coral.

  • The general purpose toolkit is called LLM studio, they have search engine for hugging face with large collection of uncensored models. MoE dark champion is one of the best for naughty storytelling.

If you want specifically talk with a sexbot customized Ai character then there's Hammerai.com it has both online and offline versions

Edit: local toolkits obviously require good GPU - preferably with large amount of VRAM (16 gigs recommend) or at least fast CPU with lot of cores

  • You don't have to send them your ID if you just install an uncensored model locally

  • It's flattening because of birth rates. You can't have more working people if they aren't being born

  • It was all for show from the start.

  • You're missing the point. If your location is outside of UK YouTube and others don't ask for age verification. Noo need to send your child pics to some creepy middle man

  • I think UK government has no idea what they're doing. First the stupid age verification which will eventually result in massive leak of private information, now this.

If they wanted to save the environment they should push for mix of nuclear and renewable energy sources. But that requires effort...

  • Nope. Server farms are by design made with energy efficiency in mind. You can't push them any further with regulation

  • Also super long term archives are stored on magnetic tapes, they consume virtually 0 energy

  • Don't know how this works in UK - In Poland there are other ways of signing into/registering in banking.

  • Another rule: Don't let your kid share his face. Ever. For any reason.

If YouTube wants his face, just buy VPN so your kid can browse safely

  • With each additional dimension, the amount of possible combinations grows exponentially. Without serious optimization efforts, computation requirements get prohibitive very, very fast

  • I'd expect something around ~200 for n=9 and ~400 for n=10, but I imagine this is too big to be brute forced by raw computing

  • Yeah Ubuntu backed out with the next major release. Probably because of user complaints.

  • Canonical. They had that brilliant idea of wayland-by-default in 2017.

It was a great clusterfuck of frustration for me and other Ubuntu users
