  • You can absolutely accurately calculate the percentage of a lithium battery. I do so every day with solar setup I live on. Even after months floating between 20% and 80% the batteries stop charging at 99.5% and would shut off if I hit 0-1%

You just need to use a well calibrated shunt.

  • Now I'm picturing DJ Dwight.

  • You should see her on the beach!

Otherwise the front cabin is for storage + litter and ventilation is set up to suck all smells out!

  • Northern Atlantic sailing with all the whales!

This boat has been her home for the past three years but it did take her a few months before she started coming out while sailing.

  • Nahhh, while sailing she gets unlimited wet food because she doesn't drink as much so most of the grumps come from the need to wear her life jacket to go outside haah

  • My cat ekekeks at birds yet she gets confused and panics if a bird is actually within reach. But she also won't kill mice and just plays with them sooo

  • cats @lemmy.world

Senior cats can still be adventure cats!

  • Can't believe I just watched the miniseries for the first time on my fourth rewatch 😅

  • I meant while biking down a hill.. If riding squeezed out all the mud then that means the runflat tire is... Flat...

  • I can't even clear up regular spokes fully by going 40kmh down a road because of the clay type mud we get.

  • Because mud will do what mud does and clog any opening smaller than a few inches wide?

  • Ouuuu I like that! Lately she's been asking to be called king so that's my current goto.

  • Goose (like silly goose) is one of my favourites.

  • Pretty sure we had a deal with them years ago where we were required to use oracle products for everything. So that's how we ended up with so many of out apps running on oracle DBs.

  • Oh 100% And I was thinking of extreme examples with the Pickering Nuclear station having (once up to) 8 550MW reactors dumping heat into a fairly shallow part of the lake and the NB reactor having no chance to remotely affect the bay of Fundy temps lol.

Lil halicination farms on the seafloor are a dumb idea but not because of heat affecting the environment beyond the thousands of organisms that would live directly on them.

  • The plants on the lakes so monitor the water temp so they don't affect the ecosystem during the warmer seasons still.

But I doubt the one in NB had to worry about that when more water flows by it than all the rivers in the world combined.

But yes, much better source of cooling at the cost of maintenance and equipment. Just like tidal power but with fewer moving parts.

  • Battlestar Galactica

  • This one only seems to show cargo ships vs those other two being able to show any ship with AIS including pleasure crafts and fishing fleets.

  • Lol And here's me using two year old petg that was stored in open air on a boat without issues.

Maybe I just print slowly enough for that to be ok.
