  • Honestly the time investment to be able to play a few songs is actually really quick on most instruments. Like on guitar you can go from having never held one to being able to play cool rock songs in under 30 minutes. Even a newborn infant just out of the womb can play a recognizable rendition of Smoke On The Water

  • Nah, the film grossed 240 million. Even if they spent 100 million on marketing then the movie still earned 140 in profit. If you like you can even throw another 40 million in there to account for any other costs, and that means it still pulled in 100 million in straight profit. By every commercial measure the movie was a financial success.

  • Seriously, i hate when people speak in an authoritative voice when they don't know what they're talking about. By every measure of commercial success that's commonly considered, Tron Legacy did well. It made over 200 million in profit. It was expected to make 40-50 million on its opening weekend, and perfectly achieved that when it took in 43.6 million. It was the number one movie at the box office. It had a 170 million budget and earned 410 million at the box office, netting 240 million profit just on ticket sales.
