  • Give a couple examples of what you're taking about

  • What's the average lifespan for Asian executives? From what I've heard the "salaryman" lifestyle is pretty horrendous

  • It isn't. Yes there's lots of bad stuff, but there's also lots of good stuff too

  • Sooooo many potential applications!

  • But that's not what we're talking about. It's extremely extremely rare for a language to adopt a new written character.

  • I'm pretty sure that's not actually how language works.

  • There's no umlaut in english, so it doesn't signify any sound in english words, it's merely a stylistic choice, kind of like writing a z at the end of a word instead of an s.

  • Thanks! I'll put it on the list!

  • In any use where size and or weight is important. For example wearables and flying drones

  • This is sadly a conceivable scenario

  • There are a few settings that make it better. Like enabling "brief mode" or something like that

  • Ooooo no, I'll have to try that one too!

  • I will do that! Thanks for the tip!

  • Here in nyc it's available at most Indian restaurants, but for some unknown reason naan is the only bread most people here have ever tried. I order poori every time I eat Indian food

  • Unpopular opinion: poori is the far superior bread. Oily yum ball goes pfffffffff

  • A trick for that is to tell them to now try actually unplugging it from the wall and turning it back on again. This gets them to actually do it instead of lying and/or not understanding what it means to actually turn it off and on again

  • The world just got a whoooole lot sexier

  • Because you can't see through the car door to see where the lines are on the ground

  • But that defeats the purpose of using a neighboring car to help you get between the lines on the first try. It's a selfish move, but that's my guess why they do it
