  • In NYC everything is within like a 15 minute walk, including the library

  • Yeah it seems like at least half of people age 30 to 60 have tattoos in the the us

  • Ugh i hated that about Germany. When you ask for a water they bring you a seltzer. If you want water you have to specifically ask for "still water". Like what?! That's crazy nonsense. Water is one of the most basic elements of life as we know it, you can't make the word for water mean anything other than what it's always meant. I mean obviously you can, but it seems insanely dumb

  • As a clarification, that last one is definitely NOT true about all places in the US, it very much depends on which area you live in. In NYC few people own a car even if they're quite well off. No one here drives to get their regular groceries.

  • Sounds awful, i think i can empathize. I strongly suggest thinking much less about grand concepts, and instead put all your thoughts and energy into practical things you can do to improve your life. Things like:

    • Go to the gym
    • Find a therapist, or if you've got one try to find a better one
    • Apply to school, or if you already are in one then try to improve your grades
    • Look for a job, or if you've got one try to find a better one
    • Start going to more social events, like local block parties
    • Make a goal to say hi to a stranger every day
    • Join a hobby group
    • Start doing a new skill like painting or guitar
    • Volunteer at a hospital

... and other stuff like that. Focus on how to make your everyday life a better life to be living

  • You don't even need to do that, the earring can just be an sd card holder, and you slip the sd card right out of it

  • Being on an isolated island greatly reduces their interconnectedness with other species, but definitely doesn't eliminate it completely

  • The food in Germany is completely meh imo, EXCEPT for the restaurant sour kraut - holy shit it is sooooo much better than what we get in the states. Someone told me it's because they cook it up in some kind of animal lard

  • What era - early/mid/late 80s/90s/00s ?

    What hardware - arcade/nes/pc?

  • I didn't like either of them

  • Just use the setting to not overwrite previous saves

  • "Tide comes in, time goes out - you can't explain that!"

  • Just looking to learn, who told you that?

  • Yeah to some degree, but no to some degree. Kids will sometimes say non-judgemental descriptive things like in this comic, but other times they say massively judgemental rude things. Like instead of saying your belly is soft they'll say "ew your belly is so fat" or "your butt is broken, it hangs way down".

Let's not pretend kids are non-judgemental, often times they're the most judgemental of all

  • Preganté

  • Why is this 4 panels instead of 3?

  • In NJ all the gas stations are full service only. If you try to start pumping your own gas the attendant will start yelling at you telling you to stop

  • I think op is taking about a situation where a statement/question is partially true, but also partially untrue. Like "Do some things fall faster than other things because they're heavier?" The answer is "kinda but not really".

  • Sorry but this type of post is very specifically not allowed in this subreddit
