To piggyback off of OR3X's comment, I purchased a LSI 9300-16I for my Plex server which will support 16 data/SAS drives with the 4 way cables. They make a 8I version as well that's cheaper. Power is still something you have to work out though, but that's a single PSU.
I purchased my unit on eBay for $53 a couple years back. I use unRAID to host everything and would recommend because it's fairly simple to setup, and works very well with mixed disks and parity. I've had 5+ old drives fail over the past few years and never lost any data.

Just to be clear, the promise of free beer and the license revocation are separate. The brewery broke the law on multiple fronts, that's why they lost the license. They also just happened to say the thing about free beer, which maybe brought attention to themselves, but the statements aren't the reason for the punishment.

I had decent resources, and even the auto settings should have helped out in some situations, but rare success. I do think there's a real possibility I had a faulty product, but I never bothered to dig further. Within a year or two phone cameras took the reigns, so I moved on
I had a fuji finepix around 2010. It was probably user error, but I could not get action shots. Anytime with movement was always blurry, even when I set it for action. For more still shots, the pictures were great, but I wasn't sad to stop using it with better phone cameras.
It's it possible for the BBC to countersue or do something to proceed so that they can subpoena? I feel that they could arguably sue for defamation given very public statements and actions from the Trump admin against them
If I had the funds that the BBC have and was given the golden ticket Trump's idiotic actions gave them, I too would be able to take it to Trump. Alas, I'm but one of the poors. Best I got is protesting and voting, or quite literally throwing my life away getting physical.
Comparing the BBC to the American people is an unfair comparison. However, it's fair comparing them to major US businesses that could and can take action but haven't. Particularly news organizations are the biggest failures, but when you take into account that all of the major news organizations are owned by conservative moguls, it makes sense. Also, only a couple of companies were given a legal path to pull off what the BBC is doing thanks to Trump's short-sightedness. Not just anyone can subpoena Trump's allies.
Yea, because losing all income and healthcare for an entire family is super easy. People don't need to eat and if they get hurt or sick, they can just rub some dirt on it. I don't know why more people don't just make the sacrifice, especially individually when the chance for success is basically non existent.

Kind of related, but I spent about 5 weeks straight a couple months back working on our Playwright tests at work. Lots and lots of race conditions, many because of poor code since nobody knew the framework well, but many were just uncontrollable server side and network issues. I modified so much code and optimized it to the point that the entire pipeline was running in about half the original time, and I was getting successful consecutive pipeline runs. I found out that the test server is a VM with 1 CPU core and 8gb of RAM. Playwright by default will run all test files in parallel but each individual test in each file in serial, so we had about 10 tests trying to run frontend tests at the same time on that hardware. I think per Playwrights recommendations, it should be something like half as many cores as concurrent tests or similar, so we weren't close.
Anyway all of that text to say I was able to get that increased from 1 to 2 cores, and 8 to 16gb of RAM. It's still getting hammered, and it's still having issues, but it's no longer my problem, so the company gets what they're paying for.
I can relate. I inherited 3 raised boxes this year, put them together, and they're still waiting to be set out and filled. Maybe next year me will finish what this year me started.
I will say, setting up a small basic herb garden and lettuce is super easy, low maintenance, and forgiving as far as growing plants goes.
