It's the whole package. It's the unsightly huge buildings, the taking of jobs, the AI slop, the environmental destruction, the electricity cost increase, the noise, the pollution. There are few good things AI does, and none of them offset the negatives.
I do think that it will be tough to tackle all of the demos that are writing trump off. Not saying he's not going to try and succeed in some places, but it appears based on primaries that he's got to disenfranchise about everywhere, and that's a lot more difficult.
I haven't taken any group or family photos for a good 10 years because first, I hate having my picture taken, but second, that shit will for sure end up online, and I'm not doing that as much as possible. Can't dodge all of the bullets, but I can control what I can control. This is by far my largest online presence, and is decently anonymous. Anyone that's posting their children online is a PoS if they're aware, or at best ignorant shits fucking with the futures of their children.
Unfortunately, I had these conversations with many non technical people around me, and those concerns don't exist amongst the technologically illiterate. There needs to be laws and guardrails in place to prevent this shit.
I could do it with toothpicks if given the opportunity. How many billionaires and corrupt politicians do we have? I could knock that out in a week under less than ideal circumstances if needed. The guillotine is a great option for efficiency and shock though.
Fwiw, I'd imagine of the people that were pushing hard in support of the 2A, most but not all we're conservative. Of those 35% you referenced, I bet almost all of those contribute to that group of hard fast 2A supporters. There is a large portion of us that didn't vote for this, don't support 2A, and hate the current state of affairs.
I was debating someone about this. I said we need for of the pole cutting and destruction while the other person said that's not okay and we need to go through proper channels. I said we tried and were shut down. Glad to see I was right.
I spent enough time learning vim that I can do basic navigation and text editing. I'd like to be able to navigate efficiently like some of the savants out there, but the effort to get to that point is more than I'm willing to put into in.
This dude's not a politician. He's presenting is professional opinions publicly about the leader of the US. Everyone should care about that. I for one love seeing posts like this. That he's doing is at some degree "playing the game of politics" because this person has specific skills, not as a politician, but he's using them to publicize a politicians state of being. You sound like you have a better road map for what this person should be doing instead. Care to elaborate on that?
It sounds like if Trump sues you for anything at all, if you can tie it back to his finances or Epstein files, he will drop the claim. I hope companies and wealthy non Trump supporters are taking notes.

Ianal, but I believe laws like this usually have a "reasonable expectation" component to them. Imo, ad free means Google isn't injecting their own ads before or during videos, with the exception of ads during live events. I believe they have lived up to that and more with the built in functionality to detect and skip creator ads. I think the explicit writing in the ToS further defends their position, but by itself isn't a definitive defense. So I think the prosecution has to somehow convince a judge that they were actually deceived by the whole package, the marketing and defend against the very clearly stated section in the ToS. That to me is a tall order and I think Google wins.
