  • Atleast I have chicken...

  • Oh... So thats where that who-hash came from. One of my co-workers mentioned that yesterday, and I had to pause "That isnt how FEMA works. Where did that come from?". It makes depressing sense now...

  • Im upgrading my rook to a hotel.

  • And it gives you some degree of control over reposts and people stealing content. If your not on the platform you cant really contest claims against a video or post.

  • Im stealing these.

  • Now, that one does have its place. I either it in an ironic sense that you dont need multiple degrees to do something. The flip side is that the people we send to space tend to be the most qualified people in multiple fields, a medical surgeon with a stem degree does not sound too far outside the realm of reason.

  • The meme has a fair point, but its not my gripe with the insurance industry. Im of the opinion that the managers for collective risk products should not be for-profit organizations.

In the US, if a hypothetical agency or one of those weird orgs like the postal service ran national insurance they would not be as profit driven and their proximity to other governennt bodies would push much needed regulations forward.

  • Agree, the suspension of disbelief is important when your are emulating conflicts similar to the way that people do in meat space.

Playing as a realisticly depicted person shooting another realisticly depicted person cant be good for your mental health.

  • Unfortunatly, until voter and electoral college reforms are past, your choices are red team or blue team. The luxury of voting for who you prefer has been gone for decades. In order to get the policies you support passed you need to vote against the opposition.

I would have supported burnie for the last entire decade if I didnt feel I had to stand with the crowd against darth cheeto every time I go to the polls.

What are your congregations thoughts on other counting methods (Ranked choice / Instant run-off / other voting systems)?

  • Its very hard to find anything in the lower 48 and Canada (Your right, Mexico has a lot more preserved sites) that are older that 400 years old. I was recently out in southern Utah and there are petroglyphs around Moab, some depicting horses which dates them to no earlier than the mid-1600s. Others are believed to be significantly older.

Meaning Ive seen something in the US that is older than your mum. /s

  • Outside: Baseball cap

    Indoors: Wizard hat

  • We should bring back tricorns, I just think they are neat.

  • 0 Degrees Farenhight = very cold, 100 Defrees Farenhight = very hot

0 Degrees Celcius = very cold, 100 Degrees Celcius = dead

0 Degrees Kelvin = dead, 100 Degrees Kelvin = also dead...

  • There are far more positions with power over people than there are good people mentaly equiped to fill them. Your comment is incredibly naive.

  • We found them!

  • The issue is that the market has spoken. People want cool neat things and they want them cheap. Companies were able to lower the price of major devices by including all the always-online stuff as it generated revenue after the initial purchase.

Now everything comes with smart shit wether you want it or not, and for those that dont, the product they wish to have dosent exist or is more expensive. So... the argument that the "naiveity" of the masses is making things worse is valid.
