The answer is clearly no because - as even rational factions in Israel will concede - the war is about population engineering, land annexation and settlement, not the hostages. It was clear from the very first two weeks when that intelligence report leaked laying out war options which included exactly what we are seeing, when Israeli leadership declared starvation plans and stated that Gaza would be reduced to a "city of tents." And just last week the IDF let kahanist lunatic settler Daniella Weiss enter the strip to survey land for settlement. The hostages don't matter on any political level, only on a propaganda, morale and moral level.

No alibi for suppressing US aid agency evidence of deliberate starvation of civilians. Democrats have no alibi for passing legislation banning funding to UNRWA among other bills underwriting pretty apparent war crimes. They have zero alibis for striking down bills aimed at halting Israel's slaughter, domicide and settlements. The attitude in DC is that Israel needs to get it over with and make sure it is permanent. They view the West Bank and Gaza as unruly parts of a Jewish empire - Israel needs to pacify and integrate them on its own terms.

Since Biden believes that Trump is a fascist, and he didn't do this for purely selfish reasons, I expect him to also issue a blanket pardon for all undocumented immigrants as he is granted the power two do under Article II, Section 2 of the US Constitution. Otherwise, I'll have choice but to believe that he is a corruot individual who is actually just saving his son from legal consequences of matters already resolved in court.
