  • Interesting viewpoint.

  • Yes. Its very easy. Think of keywords that describe the things you don't care to hear about or see on Lemmy. Add them to the block list in your account settings.

  • You gotta use keyword filters, friend. Block that shit from your feeds whenever possible.

  • Correct me if I'm wrong but ISPs dynamically assign WAN IPs to the vast majority of their non-enterprise consumer base, right? If that's the case, how would historical posts on 4chan have any relevant data to dox someone with? Wouldn't the window of opportunity have passed for pretty much everything older than a few weeks?

  • They "trust" me.

    Dumb fucks.

  • This perfectly describes my experience working with IT "professionals".

  • If its yellow let it mellow. Not for too long though.

  • Or that guy wants to be the best possible guardian for the innocent life he's about to adopt so he chooses to behave as though the dog has the same capacity for emotion as he does. In that case, first impressions are important.

There's nothing even remotely negative about this, even if it was tongue in cheek to get a laugh and a swoon out of his girl.

Its funny and if he means it its also wholesome. Win-win.

  • "Why is Jim treating the magician poorly?" :/

  • Extol's "Burial" is one of the greatest metal albums of all time, IMO

Antestor is another killer Christian metal band.

  • Wasn't this in Particle Fever? That doc is incredible.

  • Same here. Left and never looked back.

  • As a Canadian, I spent eight months living in France a couple years ago. Had nothing but great experiences with people. I had one pharmacist be a little snooty with me. But other than that, they were very helpful regardless and very nice.

What I realized is that they place a lot of value in their native language and it's very important to them to speak it clearly and properly whenever possible so they won't usually hesitate to correct you.

The vast majority of people were stoked that we were speaking French at all. It's really changed my perspective on the French language in my own country for the better, to be honest. I just get it now.

  • Same here.

  • Not for the capitalists running these companies.

  • On the left is Babyman, also known as Chickenman. He has two names because he's either a babyman where he's all cuddly and wants to be cozy or he's a Chickenman because he looks like an uncooked chicken as he runs like a madman all over the house when he's hyper.

On the right is Freyja. Typically goes by 'Frey', but when she's in a hyper mood (which is extremely rare) we call her 'Turbo Cylinder' because she's very tubular in shape at high speed.

  • Literally right now. Mid 30s. I'll be running my first marathon this year.

  • A bit harsh. I was left thinking deeper about the subject matter by the end. If that's not the goal of this kind of writing then I don't know what is. I enjoyed this read.

  • Fiber and a fuckload of Kefir/Greek Yogurt literally reset my digestive system. No woo, pseudosciency bullshit. I just figured I needed to do something and knew fiber was good and the bacteria in greek yogurt was good for gut health. Shoveled that shit down my gullet for a week and it literally fixed me. I thought I had IBS as I had terrible bathroom experiences for over ten years. That era is over. Gotta stick with good dietary habits moving forward though.
