I've seen several accounts here on Lemmy that go to an error page when you click on the name on their post. I always report them to the admins and never see them again. Never heard back from anyone what's going on. I've developed a habit of checking the profiles of posts that just seem off.

I've heard this argument elsewhere but I can think of a lot of reasons Republican voters are much less likely to move addresses and would need to reregister to vote much less frequently. Include how this would affect married women and I would imagine this would affect the Democratic vote much more strongly.

One of their living distant relatives, the velvet worm, is readily eaten by invasive hedgehogs and rats. Hedgehogs are insectivores and rats will eat just about anything but the article I read mentioned they shoot "bitter, sticky slime" so yeah that probably leaves a taste. I would expect anomalocaris would have similar chemical defenses to velvet worms so expect an unfamiliar astringent or ammonaical flavor if you do someday get the chance.
