Just a below average idiot that mostly comments for one of 3 reasons:

Catharsis, expressing exasperation over the general state of things.

Looking to make someone laugh.

Self deprecation.

  • At the moment it's Zani

She's tired and overworked, but she cares about doing something and doing it right. Plus she has a super hot "Italian-ish" accent lol

  • The Consumer Product Safety Commission was created in 1972. Its five members must maintain a partisan split, with no more than three representing the president’s party. They serve staggered terms.

That structure ensures that each president has “the opportunity to influence, but not control,” the commission, attorneys for the fired commissioners wrote in court filings. They argued the recent terminations could jeopardize the commission’s independence.

Nice words, but if he can fire them and they fill the majority with Republicans leaving only 2 slots for Democrats then he does control it...

  • US corporate media: absolute fucking scum all the way down.

  • Very true! I'm so ungrateful! :(

  • Those who gain citizenship through unlawful means and endanger our national security will not maintain the benefits of being an American citizen

Lmao... Benefits? What exactly are those benefits? Not being on the receiving end of a bombing? Not having our country destabilized by a narcissist (we don't even get that benefit anymore). Having healthcare taken away? A secret police force take you away for wrongthink? Lol benefits of being an American....

  • I already gave up that hope.

I live in someone's garage and my "retirement plan" is a shotgun sandwich.

  • I honestly kind of hate that I grew up in the 90s... Born mid 80s and was old enough in the 90s to have my childhood engrained with this idea that the future was all progress from there on out. Then the 2000s come along with a big ol' middle finger and it's just been fascists all the way down and economic decline from there. :/

  • I was just trying to follow the rules about the headline of the article. I added the kiss the ring part, but the rest is what the BBC had when I posted it.

  • Unfortunately we got this future Biff:

  • "Daddy daddy, what do you think the future will be like?"

"Oh I think it will be wonderful: flying cars, more understanding of our neighbors, space travel, cures for diseases, people will live more comfortable easy lives!"

The future: fascists, racist robots, billionaires, more fascists, bombing civilians, cutting science funding, the earth is on fire, more fascists, cutting HIV study funding, more racist robots, gutting artistic employment, more billionaires, fried donuts.

I guess it's not all terrible, just mostly.

  • I seriously hope they still get their merger denied and the settlement is referred to as a reason why lol

  • My words exactly when I read this...

Paramount doesn't give one solitary fuck about how this affects perception of media, how the Reich gets to do a victory lap and entrench the idea that no media but their media should be trusted, all Paramount cares about is money.

They even still hold that they did nothing wrong, but they refuse to fight because Mango Mussolini has the power to stop their merger...

And as usual every fucking coward Democrat who has ever been mistreated or misrepresented by Fox news refuses to sue them because we need to "go high when they go low." Nice plan Icarus.

  • This is what absolutely kills me about the people around me in this country....

The owner of a company has an idea of your total value, your "compensation." They factor in the cost of healthcare in that calculation, so we're still paying for the insurance and yet so many people see it as "their company pays for it, if we had universal healthcare then I would have to pay a tax!" ... mother fucker you already pay the "tax" for a much worse, more expensive system where people still aren't covered...

  • There’s a flat 5€ fee for prescription meds and 10€ per day in a clinic

Jesus... As an American, we already pay $1,200 a month for the privilege of paying $50+ just to walk into the doctors office. Forget prescriptions or testing...

  • Of course they had to do this or Trump would sic his cult on any Republican who voted against it. How would these Republicans be able to stay in government and milk the public for cushy lifestyles? I mean my god some of them slightly missed beach vacations for this, they work so hard!

    /Vomit.

  • Italian kitty! He longs for the pasta! Lol

  • Totally not something a fucking dictator does. Nope. Not here.

  • MAGA morons after the shit hits the fan: "goddamn Democrats!"

    ...
