I have opinions. Some of them are terrible. For this I am sorry.

Don't DM me without permission please

  • I'm gonna need like 6 of these

  • Literally only glitch-hop and lofi. Nothing that's intended to sound Good Should be played on phone speakers

  • You should really watch that video. It addresses that point exactly. In short, they mostly aren't, that isn't the problem.

  • Hey friend you know the chemicals they make those things from are like WILDLY carconogenic right? And that PFAs and their cousins last forever and don't break down in the environment?

These chemicals are being banned because humans got too good at making super stable fuck-you-big molecules that just so happen to be wildly incompatible with anything that has DNA. These chemicals are literally everywhere with water treatment facilities having acceptable limits 2ppb or less. Yea, B, Billon. The thing with that amount though, is even THAT isn't safe, its just regulable. Here's an oversimplified video on the subject by Veritasium, the clickbait headline is just that. I believe this is also on nebula if you'd prefer to avoid youtube.

  • Becky is Karen's friend who thinks she is cool because she's nice and doesn't yell at customer service workers but is actually a wet fart of a person and is just kinda boring. Kyle is... Well kyle is kyle. Everyone knows a kyle, maybe your kyle was called kevin (but I assure you he was still a kyle). Kyle is the guy who has it all figured out, if only "it all" was this years pyramid scam. Kyle is a nice guy! He wants to help you, really! He remembers that one time in high school when he tripped and you walked around him instead of stepping on his papers and he really appreciated that small kindness (like didn't get much love at home).

These are different from Karen and Chad. Chad is the Quarterback Soccer Captain of the Basketball team. He's got more meat on his jaw than a butcher has on display. He got married to Karen, they dated all through high school so nobody was really surprised, but what IS surprising is that the sports scholarship that Chad got a full ride to Good University with got taken away after his 3rd on campus rape, something that surely would've flown under the radar if he just managed to throw that last game winning pass. Karen, for reasons known only to her and her gods, always forgives Chad for his misgivings and misdeeds.

  • I have this on a shirt. It's my binge eating shirt. I eat it at gatherings

  • I don't mean to naysay but this isn't reduced civil rights people are fleeing. The US is building concentration camps and has recently approved expanding their budget for ICE (originally immigration enforcement, now a gestapo analogue) such that it is larger than most world militaries.

This is naziism people are fleeing. This is death camps people are fleeing.

  • The will repair it with flex seal of course

  • Note to self - automotive mechanics may be lemurs, High voltage electricians certainly are

  • Hey bud, no need to attack someone's intelligence. You can pick apart their argument with sources like a big kid but nobody logged in to see you be a butthead online today.

  • In 2004 grandpa gave me an old laptop from 1995 to play around with. I wanted it to be faster so I tried using g.ho.st. That was a terrible experience, too slow of internet, cloud computing was never gonna work. After that I tried suse. They had this fancy iso builder at the time that let me pick all the packages I want from the repo and have them present on my ISO.

That's started my journey, outside of school I've had Linux exclusively since.

  • I'm not sure whay the OS you use is, but on linux (debian based) they have a Curl installer that installs their Systemd service preconfigured for your account and the specific tunnel you're using.

Once that is installed, configuration is pretty easy. Inside their ZeroTrust portal, you will find the options to configure ports.

Always point your tunnel to https://localhost:port or http://localhost:port. You can get a TLS cert from lets-encrypt for your first one. New certifications are issued by cloudflare's partners regularly to prevent expiration. I think I have like 3 for my domain now? 1 from Lets-Encrypt and a couple from Google.

This could be totally unrelated, but when I first configured my domain, I used DuckDNS as my DNS registrar so I could do everything over wireguard. That's is still set up and in Cloudflare I still have duckdns included in my DNS registry. Could he worth a shot to set that up and add it to your DNS registry on cloudflare.

  • I use a cloudflare tunnel, ISP won't give me a static IP and I wanna keep my firewall locked down tight.

  • Just a comment, you've said "Polygamous" where the correct word is "Polyamorous". They are not the same. Polygamy is marriage of multiple partners, often in "sister-wives" situations and often related to patrocentric power expectations in certain smaller religious instituions and cults. Polyamory is a romantic orientation allowing for multiple romantic or sexual partners. While the type of polycule a polyamorous person engages in will vary from person to person, the harem of wives thing doesn't really happen in polyamorous circles.

  • Years ago I purchased a Fossil Explorist Q wearable smartwatch. The first software update, about a month after I bought it, turned the device from a functional smartwatch into a brick that was so slow it was nearly nonfunctional.

The device was not powerful enough to run all the spyware they tried to pack into that update, turning it into an on wrist heater, occasionally getting Hot enough to burn me.

I've never seen a device so thoroughly destroyed by enshittification so quickly. That's experience turned me off of wearables forever. Maybe I'll make my own someday. Maybe I'll get a Pebble now that they're back-ish. I'll never get anything with wearOS on it again. Hell after the last year I might never get something with Android/iOS again either.

  • Hey friend I think you pasted the wrong thing here

  • Are you implying that the poor should be denied luxury items?

  • I'm on lemmy. I'm an artist so I also have an account on Pixelfed.art because it has a portfolio view I can show people.

Otherwise I am a non-participant in social media.
