  • While a program is eligible for copyright, anything small enough to be considered a snippet likely wouldn't be unless it is sufficiently expressive or original.

  • imaginary

    does not exist

That's how they got the name

  • for a privacy-centered set of software developers to have

(Especially since they're "not some small-fry company") No developers would have been involved in this, it was 100% marketing dept and likely some service provider they use.

  • Get real. Nobody is enough of a masochist to do college homework on a de-googled android phone. (Sent from my Brax3)

  • Kind of, but they are misunderstanding the saying. It refers to the fact that if the available supply of current (maybe it should say power?) is sufficiently limited, it is possible for a person's body to conduct hundreds of thousands to millions of volts without pain or injury.

That said, high voltage behaves different and there are a lot of factors that make it unsafe.

  • I want to see copilot directly control a big cnc machine. Might be entertaining.

  • A quick search shows it's prohibited in just 4 states. Many states have conditions that apply to configuration of rifles (and shotguns) such as capacity limits, so those would affect them the same.

  • Isn't the AR-15 the most popular rifle to hunt with in the US?

  • Is it that universal though? I know it was 40 years ago now, but when management overrode engineers to sign off on the disastrous launch of the Space Shuttle Challenger, I don't think they faced any legal consequences.

  • You're not alone

  • IMO if your survival depends on doing a 'job' (especially if you're employed by someone else), then it's better to look for fulfilment in your personal life and realize the job is a means to survive and hopefully also fund what you really want to do for yourself and your loved ones.

Work to live, not live to work.

  • It's open source - literally the opposite of black box.

  • Yes I read the blog post and the linked "research". There is no indication that it has been replicated or even academically reviewed.

The linked PDF is even missing sections 8 & 9 listed in its TOC.

  • according to the research

You say that like it's settled fact. Was the "research" peer-reviewed and published in a reputable journal? Has it been replicated?

  • All the posts advocating for combining baking soda and vinegar for cleaning.

  • They didn't give anything. Complete absence of things. Null. Zero. It's especially deranged to think they possessed an entire country to give. It's literally impossible to give what you don't have, and claiming otherwise is serious mental gymnastics.

BTW I didn't vote for him and my state has sent its electoral votes to Dems from current day contiguously back longer than any other state. So assuming who I support is another ignorant statement.

  • 10 million "progressives"

Didn't give anything to trump. You're either assuming Harris was entitled to something she never received, or do you actually think Dementia Don convinced a lot of voters to cross the spectrum?
