Usually a lurker.Maybe I should've just shut up and thought for a bit longer before writing that comment...

If you want to talk to me elsewhere, you know how to reach me.

  • They are going to salvage... We (the MSP I work at) constantly throw out older systems. Too bad they have SSDs with data of potential clients and thus need to be destroyed according to GDPR...

  • Too bad that high capacity HDDs and SSDs went through the roof. Not like you can have a big library with 5x 2TB HDDs if you arent willing to sacrifice quality/bitrate. Simply not feasible.

  • Then don't and do VPN?

  • gluetun (a container) enables you to put every sort of container behind it to act as a kill switch. If you have a .conf or .ovpn file, you can plug it in there. But they also support many providers natively

  • Sorry to dissapoint.Those are sold pre-orders :p

  • Because they are trying their best to keep it like this.

  • They are being sold for that (or close)...Ebay Germany

  • Great show!

  • Sweet and helpful! Thanks for the weekend project ;)

  • Your summary was exactly what I needed to at least form a basic opinion (very basic) and (up the point at which I stopped the article) came to the same conclusion as your summary.

Edit: Thank you for taking the time for the TLDR (doesnt matter to me if AI or not)

  • Oooohh...Fuck. Now you got my attention!! Curse you on giving me homework for the weekend ;D

Was thinking about implementing your app but always postponed it.

Another question:Would it (or is?) be possible to merge the gpx/kml files from two separate devices into one timeline.Maybe even make it average points that are very close together?

  • Usable doing a lot of heavy lifting lol.

  • Hello :) What happens if I go offline during a trip, can dawarich import gpx/kml and/or can the app create a cached route when the server cannot be reached?

  • No offense but that blog is a massive wall of text that is equal to asking someone to read a whole scientific paper (which is too much to ask for in the current context of discussion).I came as far as dissecting the video about the DCs. It's not much, maybe 1/10 of the total length.

It seems okayish written but I can't add much else opinion to it as I havent read much further :/ I am sorry.

  • I'd say the traditional long-term type of DCs arent as badly built as those built atm that looks like they can be deconstructed in a single week.

  • Have you seen what their stocks are doing? The all experienced exponential growth somehow.Samsung went from a stock being 200-300€ per share to 5000€ per share in less than a year.

  • The capacity will be freed.I am sure nvidia can repurpose the dies for consumer focused stuff and call them whatever or put them into business/workstation SKUs instead of enterprise/DC applications.Same for other products they sell. They arent as hyper specialized as an F1 (except maybe for those extreme 5U gpu compute nodes. They can hardly repurpose those lol
