  • Because of legal loopholes I'm certain. They aren't technically creating images of someone that is legally a minor, despite the fact that those extremely innocent people happen to be older than 18 y/o physically, while being a bit younger mentally.

    The law is generally extremely slow to close such loopholes, and for good reason. You're seeing in real time what happens when someone tries to close all the loopholes that they care about. Drumpf just happens to care about loopholes that no one except fascist billionaires care about.

    What happens after that is going to be an absolute grab bag of situations depending on the individual, but the vast majority of those interactions won't be positive if the person, Down's Syndrome or not, has the type of antagonistic underlying personality trait that is displayed by this video of an LLM. The best you can hope for is that they're a happy drunk, which makes it much easier to help them to go to bed.

  • I held off the dragons till I did everything else because I got so annoyed with them killing townspeople in Skyrim.

    Morrowind taught me to take over some asshole dark elf's house in Seyda Neen, and powelevel all my skills to 100 before I left the first town so that a random cliff racer, or kwarma forager didn't take out me and any random NPC around me.

    Oblivion, beeline to Anvil, buy the house, and again just max out all my skills. Mostly so that the random encounters didn't kill me. I don't remember having issues keeping NPCs alive in that one.

    I'm entirely uncertain that any of us normal non magicka wielding randos would survive long in any of the most interesting times of mundus.

  • I actually didn't know there were this many. I've read a lot of the SCPs, but the organization deciding that they needed to kill everyone just kinda killed the universe for me.

  • Is it though? They have to eat an absolute ton relative to their own mass. At least all the birds I've ever interacted with were constantly eating, even when they mostly didn't bother flying. Chicken soccer is what I called feeding the chickens. No patience whatsoever.

    My mother used to say that her sons eat like birds, a peck at a time, and twice our own body weight daily.

    While we humans eat a lot, something like 50% of our calories are going to our brains. I'm not sure most birds could actually increase their caloric intake enough to be able to evolve bigger brains than they already have. Maybe if we designed them some super foods, but that seems to be cheating, to me.
