  • Nah, not a shit post. I don't think we had panthers in the Midwest. Like I said, I have no clue what she was, but she loved me and was very protective. Had a mottled grey, brown, white fur pattern, and huge ears.

  • One of my long gone cats would legit chase the robbers out while trying to eat them. She was half wildcat, I think bobcat, and weighed 75-80 pounds when full grown. She successfully hunted a few deer.

  • Google can fuck off

  • Commenting to remind myself to order one.

  • Rape and murder kids, apparently.

  • Look up The Business Plot. It's far closer to 90-100 years.

  • By name? More than half. By sight? Most of them. I do a daily walk of around 5 miles, and that has introduced me to almost everyone. There are a few older people that don't talk to me, but they are the exception.

  • I don't think that D&D elves worked like that in first edition, but it doesn't really matter. 1st edition didn't come out until 1974 so, Star Trek (TOS) was well over by then. It could have influenced TAS, but I've no clue how much Roddenberry was involved there.

I kinda suspect that if there was any D&D influence that came in with Berman.

  • How? I've been trying my best to find a DIY EMP, and AFAICT, none of the ones that are easy to find blueprints or instructions to build actually create an EMP. They just short out spectacularly.

  • Tiny crochet hook

  • He did post a video of him shiting all over Chicago. He just didn't use a fighter jet to do it.

  • Find your local SRA and organize

  • The Amazing Digital Circus. At least the fan base is toxic enough that multiple YouTubers felt compelled to make hour long videos about it.

  • I mean, if you're self employed, it can already work that way. I never set up any meetings before noon, that way I wake with the sun. Sure it means that I'm starting my day at kinda random times as far as the clock is concerned, but my body likes that way better than setting an alarm to wake at the same clock time every day.

  • It was tried. They made DST permanent in Jan. 1974. It was repealed in Oct. 1974. Fastest I've ever heard of Congress fixing some shit it was so unpopular.

  • In this case he's almost telling the truth. It's just that election was rigged by and for him with the help of Russia. There's a very clear Russian Tail on all three elections he was involved in.

  • I have in a trunk at my parents' house that contains a fair number of autographs that I collected prior to my 18th birthday. Among them are Leonard Nimoy, James Doohan, Deforest Kelley, Nichelle Nichols, George Takei, Walter Koenig, Tom Baker, Peter Davison, oh and William Shatner, I guess.

Yes, my parents like sci-fi, and D&D conventions. How'd you guess?

  • Grits, but that's mostly because I inevitably have this discussion with someone who "hates grits,"

Them: This is fantastic! What is it?'

    Me: Grits

Them: What the hell have I been eating then??

    Me: Poorly made grits.

There are two secrets. One, plain grits needs butter and salt, and will taste like popcorn when properly made. Two, about 2-3 minutes before the grits are done, drop in a raw egg and stir. I dunno why but it makes them creamier.
