  • Sprinter or a Transit. Not a minivan. Full sized van. Heck an Econoline 1500 or similar conversion vans would work if they still made conversion vans.

  • Damn NWP hoarding all the rain on the west coast!

  • Technically yes. Rev. David Rice. He sold most of The Virginia Colony and raised 1.5 million pounds of silver, which he gave to his good friends Tom, Ben, and Jim to help fund the US Army and US Navy. IIRC the exchange rate at the time was 4 or 5 British Pounds to a pound of silver.

I'm certain the British consider him a traitor to the crown.

  • Leaving it.

  • He got the hell out of Marietta Georgia, and managed to buy land in Indiana. We also have a history of being in the Navy since well before the country was founded.

  • COBOL. That's why he's a subcontractor. Not like they taught COBOL in my CS courses in university in 1998-2002.

  • You kinda can in the US. Dunno about civilized countries.

  • Not quite. More like per 40 hour week with no overtime, but my father insists on having up to 20 hours a week of overtime he's allowed to burn, so it's kinda like $7,500 a week. He generally gets paid byweekly or monthly. Subcontractor and all that BS

  • Unfortunately, if one were to invest a single gram of plutonium, not only are you ill equipped to actually properly harness even a small percentage of the heat energy it will produce, it also qualifies as a heavy metal, so there is every probability that whatever you do actually ingest before the chunk of plutonium exits your rear end will end up in your bones, thereby irradiating you further than the original gram of plutonium irradiated you as it passed through your digestive tract, mostly unobstructed, provided one doesn't have a previous bowel obstruction.

All of that is to say that it probably tastes spicy metallic. Especially if you have fillings in your mouth. It's energetic enough to give a similar sensation in your teeth that a piece of aluminum foil does when it touches your fillings.

  • You missed another thing he loves doing. He smashed an historical building in the early '70s in NYC during the starting of his "real estate" career. He smashed an historical building while other people were offering to pay to have the historical artifacts properly recovered. His excuse at the time? "It would have been too expensive." Meanwhile he knew it would have been free to him, it just would have taken 6-8 months later for him to break ground.

He's continued desecrating any historical site he can get his hands on, to this day.

He gets off on destroying historical monuments.

  • It's to get the hell out of middle of nowhere dead end towns. At least that was the draw when I was in, as well as my cousins, and father.

  • E-bikes and E-trikes would be able to get you to the nearest station just as easily for most people, if there was proper infrastructure. I have an E-bike, and basically use that and the trolly/ Amtrak to get around in Southern California. It's not perfect, but it works, and I can actually do stuff while I am commuting.

  • If we can explain to the morons that a tarriff is a tax, we might get somewhere. I seem to recall us being upset about taxes on "hemp" and "British coffee," or something.

  • It is achievable, but you have to start locally and build up. A top down solution will never be agreed upon

  • After watching a deep dive into the Micheal Bay movies I'm not certain I would even trust Best First.

  • Lexington KY, unfortunately it closed shortly after I left.

The crab rangoon pizza was the cream cheese, carrot, onion, celery and krab meat mix we stuffed into the wonton wrappers to make crab rangoon used as sauce, then topped with more krab meat, onions, pineapple, and cheese.

  • I used to manage a place called Chino's Dada. It was a combination Chinese restaurant/ pizzaria. Our General Tso's Chicken Pizza was very popular. No pizza sauce, General Tso's sauce, chicken pieces, onions, green peppers and cheese.

I personally preferred the coconut chicken pizza, or the crab rangoon pizza, but those were slightly sweet.

  • I don't, but you do constantly.

  • Not sure that's a good idea. The cops will label it biological weaponry assisted terrorism or some shit.
