  • So glad they didn't screw up the live action one. Animated is still good, but the live action is a bit less fantastic. Almost a frame for frame remake, but not quite.

  • Can't shame the shameless. They are already supporting nazis and pedophiles. I would safely assume these people have no shame.

  • Project 2025 was bandying about something about a "sustainable population" of the US being 150 million people max, so it sounds like they want an excuse to kill about 250 million of us.

  • This is what I'm talking about. We are stating to get to a cojent argument that I can call my representatives with and bitch them out, politely.

    Am a Californian by choice.

  • Someone more eloquent than I am needs to craft a compelling argument that this violates the 2nd amendment.

  • It's just fancy/finicky tomatoes, when you get down to it. Lol. The "skill" is owning a moisture and pH meter, and reading the soil/ hydroponic pH a couple times a day. I've all but automated the process at this point, at least from clone to bud stages. Getting clones to root, and trimming the buds is basically all I have to monitor any more, but that did take like 3 years of tweaking to setup.

Oh, and I grow indoors. My grow rooms could easily be used as electronics clean rooms without much modification. I set them up that way to keep out insects. Specifically spider mites. Needless to say, I can also control the temperature, humidity, and lighting of those rooms.

  • I currently grow weed, train dogs, and build custom computers. The last one has become all but impossible though. Dunno what you'd call me.

  • Install the app "5 calls." It is free and has no ads. It provides you with the direct phone number for all your representatives and senators as well as curated topics and scripts. You can also set up a weekly reminder to call them and be a pain

  • Speak for yourself. I've voted in every election I'm eligible for since I turned 18 in '98. That was a midterm election. Still voted.

I consider voting to be the most patriotic thing anyone can do, followed closely by paying taxes.

  • Cowabunga, Dude!

  • That depends on the results you want. Cows milk is absolutely amazing at helping your little heifer gain 600 pounds in the first 6 months of life. Do what you will with that info.

  • He became Serious Alfred last month, but no nothing bad has come out about Al.

  • Peruvians as well

  • I think that you might think that the flares are a whole lot bigger than they actually are, or that the sun is far less massive than it actually is. You'd need a LOT more energy than those puny flares to move the sun.

  • Osama Bin Laden

  • The water should be coming from the comets or at worst the asteroid belt.

Lifting a city out of a gravity well only to deposit it on Jupiter or Saturn, not only is a waste of resources, it won't work.

Mars isn't a viable terraforming candidate because it has a mass of about 1/3 that of The Earth. No human can live there for any extended period of time.

The problem you have with all of the gas giants is the opposite issue. Once the city achieves boyancy, as everything that falls into a gas giant will, it will be so deep into the gravity well that humans would be crushed.
