  • Ok, because of the themes which usage of the word "batman" are they using? Modern day usage is obviously the comic book character. Previous to DC creating that character, the word batman referred to a British Military Officer's Butler.

  • Greycat is the name my family used.

  • Yeah, it is complete gibberish. He used English words, but put them into nonsense sequences. That's why if you listen to the song carefully, you can almost understand it.

Your song is full of hooks. Not quite as many as Baby Shark, but easily as many as Rockin Robin

  • From what I saw, it wasn't so much that he rebuffed attempts. Epstein actively implemented plans to destroy him, much like Brendan Frasier, because he wouldn't play ball.

  • Well that song is gorgeous.

Neither one of the songs I posted is a made up language technically. The first one was made by an Italian guy, and if you listen closely, they are singing in "English." At least those are English words. He made the song to simulate for English speakers what it is like to hear a song in English for Non-English speakers.

The second song is in Mongolian.

  • That's because they cancelled the show after the 4th season, but then another network picked it up, but they had already rushed the ending.

  • I saw a thread recently that seemed to indicate the Epstien files exhonorated Michael. Apparently it may have been a smear campaign against someone on the spectrum that wouldn't work with them. He was notoriously picky about who he would work with.

  • What do you think the Gentleman's Clubs, and Men only gyms were? Those were sued into non-existence. Women are the only people that are legally allowed to have a safe space because of feminists

  • My DM made an 8th level version that he called Inquisition. It does exactly the same thing, but isn't evil because it requires a non-resisting subject

  • I got a potion of Resist Arrest is possibly the best line in the song, lol

  • If you aren't aware of the song All Paladins Are Bastards, you should look it up. You'd like it.

  • That's why in 3.5 edition I had my wizard design Unfailing Missiles. She was annoyed that Magic Missile was the only "guaranteed to hit" spell. Ironically, that was mostly because she had unknowingly picked up Improved Evasion when she decided that her familiar had to be a Pseudodragon. To design it she found a scroll of (Dalamar's) Lightning Lance, and combined the properties of that spell with the properties of Magic Missile, then pumped it up to a 9th level spell.

Unfailing Missiles Wiz/Sor 9th level. V/S Range: Medium 100ft + 10ft/ level Casting time: instant

Spell Effects: When cast Unfailing Missiles creates 3 orbs of Force/Sonic damage that can instantly hit up to 3 targets that are no more than 15° apart from each other. Each orb is barely visible and streaks towards the target. Each orb does 17d6+1 points of damage split evenly between Force and Sonic damage.

Why Force and Sonic? Because she had run into enemies that had various elemental resistances by that point, and wanted at least half the damage to be guaranteed to get through. You'd have to be wearing Epic Magic Items to be fully immune to both Force and Sonic damage at the same time.

She still had both Power Word Kill, and Mind Rape in her spell book for counter spelling purposes, because that's how it worked back then.

  • What is that GIF from? I thought I had seen all of TC's work, but that must be from one of his very first projects

  • Also having The Eagles anywhere near The Ring would have been more ruinous than giving it to Galadriel. The Eagles are as powerful as Sauron, if not one power tier higher. Even giving it to a Human, Dwarf, or Elf would have made The Ring stronger than it was in the hands of a Hobbit that wanted to destroy the thing.

  • As far as I am aware that would be correct. Also, see my edit to the previous comment.

I'm actually kinda surprised that he was able to Septumspectra Malfoy that one time. Apparently the "you have to mean it," part doesn't apply to all offensive spells?

  • The spectacle in the movie and book was explained in the book. That only happened because Harry and Voldy were basically the same person as far as the magic was concerned. When Voldy killed Harry's mom, he inadvertently made Harry his horcrux by trying, and failing to kill Harry. So basically one person was trying to kill themselves, and that caused the backfire. Also Harry didn't cast Avada Kedavera in that duel. He cast his signature spell, Expelliarmus.

Basically there was some "chosen one," stuff going on there. With anyone else, if both wizards get the spell off, both would be dead.

ETA: technically Harry failed to kill Bellatrix the only time he attempted Avada Kedavera. She got hit by a green blast and laughed at him telling him, "you have to mean it Potter, you can't just say it!"

  • She doesn't think you can't see her. She thinks she has protection to watch for potential threats, and therefore feels safer there. This is mostly due to the fact that they are adorable little murderous psychopaths, due to being obligate carnivores and therefore predators, and seem to felinopomorohize their, whether they have a concept of adoption or not, adoptive parent(s)
