  • The phrase "no shit" comes to mind.

  • I have more than 300 logins. My password manager handles passkeys, 2FA and has integretad alias creation.

At some point you just can't compare.

  • Reitti's author also posted here some days ago.

Reitti does not have a dedicated app and is fed with GPSlogger, which is capable of feeding dawarich as well (or both at the same time), actually more reliably than the dawarich app in my experience (dawarich just stopped working after a couple of days and needed a full logout/login).

Edit: Colota mentioned ITT does the same.

  • How is this selfhosted?

  • "Tag on X"

OK you are not talking to the right crowd here. xD

  • a new contender for the worst-named *arr app

A contender or a straight up winner? Wow.

And what the hell is THAT?

  • You are absolutely right!

Just kidding. Anyway, added one screenshot to the post and 3 to the readme/repo.

WebPrint a self-hosted webUI for your printer

  • This. The goal is to have guests and family able to scan from whatever device, not from my huge linux gaming rig 😂. This one works already. And as said, point is covered, now I need the same for printing.

  • Hahaha, I just setup my own lemmy instance last week and then my hardware crashed. RiP.

I'll spool it back up when I have more ram and a reliable hard drive.

  • Damn! I had just setup OIDC via Apache reverse proxy LAST WEEK!

    🤡

Selfhosting a printer (and scanner) server with UI

  • I mean spooling up pocket id was simple. Putting oidc everywhere IS fastidious but awesome.

  • Oi!

For me the 1.2.0 does not work.

docker install, starting the container fails because of

      shell

cliparr | 21:08:46.567 WRN cliparr·server·db Could not set filesystem permissions. cliparr | 21:08:46.573 FTL cliparr·server·lifecycle 'unable to open database file'
cliparr exited with code 1 (restarting)

This is defaut install and the volume/database has not been tampered with.V1.1.1 works.

Sorry but I can't open an issue in Github.

    Edit: nice work, btw!

  • Woah, thanks for the tip.

I just tried pocketid and it's actually not that complicated. Nice.

Did you know you can use Conversations (xmpp chat app) as a Push Notification Provider?

    alfredolin.eu /blog/2026/07/24/element-x-push-notifications-via-conversations/
  • Bitte schön. :)

  • Ayone has a referral link? I'm about to register.

  • I've had good notifications maybe 2,5 years ago? I don't remember for how long. Nowadays the notifications are very unreliable (selfhosted, ntfy, any android app).

  • AFAIK .ml is meant as TLD for Mali and in this case(s) has been chosen to reflect their views as standing for "marxist-leninist".

  • In my experience, dbzero is quite different. More anarchist as they claim themselves, much less defending (authoritarian) states and you don't get a cohort of downvotes when disagreeing (unless you meet on .ml grounds, which then is the usual .ml downvotes whatever you say).
