There was another connection manager that the author posts on Lemmy, but the memory usage was very high due to the amount of docker containers used. A quick glance showed no requirement for docker. The ssh port forwarding could be a very useful feature for my work right now.

  • When I was a kid, there was a game like missile command where letters would drop from space and typing the letter would launch a missile which would destroy the letter. I can only find full word versions of that game now online. Was really hoping to find a single letter version for learning where the keys are.

  • You might enjoy this story read by Stuart Mclean, a renown Canadian storyteller who used to tour around the country telling and recording his stories. The link is to a podcast in memory of Stuart who passed away from cancer a while ago now. There's 2 stories per podcast and you'll want the 2nd story, The Razor's Edge which is about Dave and his adventures after fixing an old electric razor. Just skip to about halfway and you should be close to the start of the story.
