  • Do you think anyone in DC has the stomach for that???

  • Twenty years ago, I was in grad school and I read that 78 percent of Americans were in favor of single-payer.

  • How wow it end the conflict?

  • Iran can't trust the US nor Israel. So there will never be an agreement or deal to end this conflict. Iran is in the process of removing the USA from the region. So they have no reason to actually deal with the US. Israel

The board is getting shaken. Once all the pieces land, it's possible that US sanctions will no longer carry as much weight--authority, enforceability, broad participation

  • Pollyanna? That you?

  • Why would Iran accept that?

  • Uh oh, our window is closing

  • I wouldn't stop with his ribs

  • Yay! More means-tested tax breaks!

  • Don't worry; they won't

  • If I found him I'd have left him

  • It'snot aabout paying out of pocket for losses. It's about badly run companies getting bailed out by a public investment scheme

  • OK how does my point get negated?

AI will never be profitable. It costs too much. This will just socialize all the losses

  • Don't vote. You'll feel better

  • Keghauled

    1. AI companies at present are all privately held. There are no shareholders
    2. My point is that this move lets these reckless and wasteful companies off the hook for their behavior
  • You're not incorrect, but you missed my point entirely.

  • Investors have already lost gobs of money. This industry is unprofitable.

Having the government buy half of it rescues them a bit and burdens the public with this boondoggle tech

  • They're unprofitable. This is just socializing losses
