  • In the last apartment we rented shortly after a new next-door neighbor moved in, we started finding roaches in our place. 100% came from the neighbor because she's nasty. One night I felt something crawl on me in the bed. Yep, a roach. Fun times.

  • Out of interest I checked again to see which app works with Atmos 7.1. Offical Jellyfin AndroidTV app and Wholpin trigger transcoding on the server. VoidTV and Moonfin play it without an issue. I know there's an open issue on the Github somewhere, but I don't think there was any progress there.

  • I've tried multiple Jellyfin apps for TV and all but VoidTV refuse to play Atmos with DV. 5.1 works, but 7.1 doesn't. Including the offical Jellyfin app. It's odd because it used to work until it didn't.

  • Plenty of that stuff in Europe, too. My mother's custom made kitchen has quite inconvenient shelves in that corner, but at least the space is used. OTOH, we're buying a kitchen and the standard is to just have nothing there. Seems like one has to specifically request shelves or a lazy Susan type mechanism.

I have some half-supported, like Logitech mouse (G-shift doesn't work), and for some I rely on open-source devs (like Corsair keyboard for certain keys/modes/connectivity fix). Sure, you can say just buy compatible devices, but it's not always viable to replace everything you owned before moving to Linux.

  • I miss the RGB notification light. I use AOD now, but I'd much rather have the little light back.I haven't seen a phone with one of those in a very, very long time.
