What slur? Now you really have loss me. People in my community were realistic about what we could get done on 11/5. We didn't call anyone a slur, we're not Republicans. Naive? Foolish? Maybe, but what slur? I'm not calling myself a "Good" person, but I'm am calling myself a politically involved and empathetic beyond what is comfortable for me. I'm sure you also feel like you're a good person, and maybe you are, I only know you from this interaction. But I'm at peace with what I did on 11/5 because I didn't stop working.
I'm fine being down voted knowing that I did and will continue to do what I can. Just like I'm sure you're fine feeling that you did and/or are doing the same.
I'm sorry, I'm just so angry that we are in this position, and that it's even worse. It's very, very frustrating (though I'm sure it's the same for you).
Still not sure why you think we'd be walking around calling people slurs though 👀
Edit: Whoops, their account is gone I think? Sorry. I swear I didn't report. 🙏🏾
Oh my, my type? Goodness, you know, I didn't see your type either now that I think about it! When I went to protests and meetings in my community, I'm afraid I didn't see you there, I only saw people who we trying to actually help people, you know, the ones that knew they were between and rock and a hard place, but actually tried to not hand the government over to a blood thirsty racist, while making sure the community was informed in what steps to take should he win and are now continuing to rally and make their voices heard instead of "not VoTiNg fOr GeNoCiDe" which, you know, kind of got us here.
But perhaps it's scary to stand for a belief off of the internet, but I'm unfamiliar with the feeling because my mom didn't raise a bitch.
Don't worry, we'll handle it, sport. You just stay safe inside, okay? ♥️
Lmao
I would absolutely square up against a fascist. Don't threaten me with a good time. See, I'm an adult. I understand the work doesn't stop at the vote, but I know how important it is to do what I can, even if it's small. And I know that giving the government the equivalent of a cold shoulder allows shit to happen. Evil happens when good people do nothing, and, unlike you I guess, I refuse to do nothing. I'm involved in my local government and plan to keep working. I'd say you should do the same, but I think we both know that ain't happening. But I hope you feel good doing nothing but bad mouthing those braver than you on the internet. Just down vote me and be on your way. 💅🏾
Did anyone tell the Palestinians that this would have been the same and to not worry? We had brave, brave people who sat on their hands and did nothing in their name, so I hope they're grateful for their "sacrifice."
I haven't seen an add in years, but I would mute or do something else like a regular commercial break. You know, snack, maybe bathroom, check my phone, etc.
Their excuses are baffling. Harris didn't have policy. Okay, but Trump did? He kept walking about "concepts" of a plan, and lying about wanting P25. Trump is for the people? He is hanging out with, like, the national league of assholes and duchebags. "Harris was scary." BUT NAZIS AREN'T!?
I haven't gone on walks for a bit because I just cannot stand seeing those fucking signs. My mom and grandma are in a tizzy, and my mom is just as forlorn. She doesn't even want to vote anymore.
And I'm so, so, so angry. I'm not saying Harris would be the second coming, but that anyone would pick a fascist over anyone is infuriating. The area I live in is not bougie, these signs were sometimes outside houses that have seen better days. And they doomed us all for at least the next four years. I'm so distrustful of my neighbors not that we were close to begin with. I want to ask them why, I want to scream at them, I want to question them.
I feel helpless. All my life I believed that there was some thread of decency that connected us, a thread of common sense. But there's none. And that's really upsetting.
What ya'll upset for now? The economy was so good under Trump! Didn't you want him to deport all those "poisonous" immigrants. He's your retribution. And, besides, it's not like Harris would have been any better, because they're the same anyway.
I rent a bare-bones townhouse. Two rooms, and a basement with an old washer and dryer, and a small garage.
I have always lived in apartments, sometimes with fewer rooms than people. Having an entire place of my own (that's not a studio apartment) is sometimes unbelievable to me. A washer and dryer downstairs? No quarters? I don't have to look for a spot, I have a garage? I don't have to cram my entire life in one room, I have an "office!?" This will likely be the closest to "home owner" I'll get and it still feels unreal after almost two years here. It's certainly not going into anyone's Pinterest board, and there are issues, but I always feel "bougie" when I open the garage 🤣
I actually heard that this was most desirable in the stone age as the plumper women could survive winters and childrearing. So it is a bit like stone age photoshop, just not in the direction we usually expect.
