  • Typically, I up vote if someone makes a good point or a good joke. If they’re being jerks or being misleading, i down vote it. Of course, jerk can be subjective. I try not to make it about opinion, but realistically, something like “Trump bro“ is being a jerk

  • I think a fair amount of people have gone from having no idea at all to thinking something incorrect, though, namely “they’re a tax on other countries”.

  • So, another way to read that is that 3 out of 10 Americans still don’t know what a tariff is?

  • Many Christians believe it is sinful, because generally they are uptight as hell about anything regarding sexuality.

  • It's quite creepy and I can definitely picture these uptight evangelical Christian type people thinking it's totally normal. So weird.

  • The US speaker of the house Mike Johnson has mentioned many times how he and his son monitor each other’s masturbation habits through an app

  • Huh, I wonder if I should share intimate potentially embarrassing and blackmail worthy details with some random tech company who had an app

  • I’m entirely unfamiliar with this auto scrolling thing. I looked it up and all I found is extensions and add-ons for people who want to be able to do that to arbitrary sites. Can anyone supply an example of a website that uses this auto scrolling?

  • There is not legitimately any entity called the Department of War.

  • Tesla is selling their stock. I don’t think Elrod really cares about anything else, and I don’t think shareholders do. It’s been obvious for a long time that the stock’s excessive value is built on unfulfilled promises, ambitious supposedly visionary plans, and vibes. We even have Elron saying they’re no longer a car company and are going to focus on robots or whatever. He’s even stated obviously incorrect metrics about their automated taxis recently.

  • Sounds like it's appropriately named: inadequate and a ripoff

  • I sub spinach for lettuce often on sandwiches. Same with other baby greens like chard, or even watercress or arugula.

  • the level and type of stupidity has not changed at all.

  • I love roasted fresh green beans, but the canned have their place. It's amazing I never even had fresh green beans until I cooked them myself in my 20s... always frozen or canned until then. Of course the texture of canned is way softer. It makes them appropriate for different uses, like I'd rather have canned in a 3 bean salad. Kind of a whole different vegetable. As far as a spinach, I don't see any reason to use frozen and the idea of canned spinach fills me with disquiet.

  • cat diets are confusing to me. Of course I realize they primarily need protein, but I don't really know how much carbs or fiber they can eat.

  • It’s shocking what goes on

  • Maybe I’ll get a bottle of clam juice and some eggplant and find out

  • The store is a carniceria, so they have a lot of Central American stuff

  • I don't really like the idea of diving in the ocean, retrieving some weird bug from the sea floor and squeezing it into my drink. Plus the ingredients are far inferior to V8.
