Billionaires are not our allies. And some of them are genuinely stupid enough to have thought they could contain what was going on that it was just gonna be more tax cuts for them. Other billionaires are betting on the collapse, and are willing to take less monetary power, to have more literal power if they can create their own city states. Literally what they're hoping for.
