  • I disagree that its ignoring the bigger problem, which is that slop like this is overwhelming devs to get fixes out ASAP faster than they can fix.

    So now we have AI big reports feeding AI big fixes in a lot of projects.

    The assumption that what AI finds is correct in the first place is.... Probably wrong.

    It makes stuff up all the bloody time, so how many of these bugs were made up, or not actually bugs?

  • You say thats not valid criticism, but yet I can't think of another language that has a debate over semicolons.

    Maybe that's just me not be exposed in my career to more ones like that, and there are still petty squables in every language yes.

    But the fact you have to have the second paragraph, and defend it, is the problem your replying to. something so core to a language like line ending syntax, is figured out in all other laugauges. You don't have to mentally be prepared to unfril that layer of syntax.

    Its just a charge levied by the government. You think taxes are only income taxes, but thats just one type of tax.

    In the same way tarrifs are also taxes, so would be making an employer pay for govermenet benifit, would also be a tax.
