If you want to host your own email server, then do that. As someone earlier in the thread said, email was the first federated messaging system. That was the entire point of SMTP. Anyone could host one and trust it would work.
I don't know if it's what you're looking for, as it's not ActivityPub based, but Postmoogle is a Matrix bridge email server, where you can send emails to it and they'll be converted to Matrix messages. There might be a similar thing for ActivityPub?
That's good to hear. The last (and only) book I bought on Kobos store I had to use Adobe Digital Editions I think, which was annoying since they don't provide that for Linux.
Do you have an easy way to strip the DRM from the Kobo ebooks? If not, then is it much different thank Amazon? I also have a kobo but don't buy from their store. I mainly buy books on ebooks.com if they are DRM free. And maybe acquire others that aren't DRM free.
Not officially I don't think. And even if you did, you'd need a customized app to point to said server, and then you wouldn't be interoperable with the regular signal network
Pretty sure they're actually the most compatible. I read somewhere that Intel QSV is the best for transcoding, followed by nvidia. And Arc uses QSV I think.
Don't have a source, so take with a grain of salt.
I'm thinking about throwing an Arc B580 in the Minisforum MS-01 I just got and pass it do my JF VM.
Having read it multiple times, the trailer pissed me off because of the spoiler. I'd honestly say for anyone, whether you've read it or not, don't watch the trailer.
My partner hasn't read it, and I said they shouldn't watch the trailer. We're gonna see the movie and I don't want them to get spoiled
Reminds me of a final exam in university (engineering course) where the Prof said we could use one double sided sheet. I wrote it in red and blue pen and brought 3D glasses. It was helpful for duplicate things with different info like some tables. I barely used it, but I thought it was clever and funny
I'm super worried they're not gonna do rocky well. I think the appropriate thing would be to use subtitles, however I doubt normal people would be into that
I just poked on the demo and I think it could, however it might be a bit clunky. Maybe could be a viable thing to request of the dev. Maybe alongside a donation for a sort of bounty.
