  • I checked it out. It's not a ghost town, but I feel like there is less activity than on federated platforms. It doesnt have the critical number of people talking about stuff to be interesting and actually result in dialog.

  • This isn't his plan. It's the long orchestrated project 2025 shit. They want to shutdown the normal government but keep ICE running so they can do their kristalnacht without your normal non-fascist govt employees getting in the way with things like injunctions

  • When they shut the government down, there is still a huge pile of money to be dispersed. It just closes down some offices. Trump has stolen many billions from congressionally allocated uses. That money will pay the gestapo while everyone else eats ramen until the government reopens

  • I wonder if the public version of this pageantry is cover for the secret meeting where he singles out leaders for not being loyal enough or where they plan to coup ... antifa?

  • Which is weird because I thought he wanted more civil war confederate beards.

  • I'm shocked that it wasn't a cop.

  • Honestly the super loose typing in python always made me hate it. I felt like I had to do more work making the type system behave than programming the app I wanted in the first place. I'm glad it's got hints now.

  • Do you have any idea how expensive chatgpt tokens are for a writing room!? It'd be way cheaper to just have a few lines of dialog and 30-40 minutes of cgi explosions

  • School shootings are just a necessary byproduct of a second amendment. Jeez come to terms with it already. Children have to die in terror for your freedom!

edit: /s in case it wasnt obvious

  • Yeah I think you're exactly right that these are just spamming and scamming operations.

  • Even if they were to send endless messages to an individual number, I don't think it would cause any form of destruction or danger. It would just be denial of service. The cellphone backend might even put that number in a penalty box and refuse its connection. Again, just a denial of service.

I'm thinking the article is full of shit.

  • OK so what does one of those rackmount cellphone arrays do and how does it target people? I could see it turning on all of the modems simultaneously and overwhelming a network. But I can't figure out what it does to an individual besides a denial of service.

  • That's been their plan the whole time. Any surplus money they earn is just an accelerant toward their goals of subjugating Americans

  • Remember that sooper-communist policy where the us government would buy surplus crops to ensure that too much was grown for the sake of having enough when there were bad years and crop disasters?

Gosh I wonder which president got rid of it

  • Wha... these things are real? I thought they were made up for the South Park episode

  • Don't Fuck Fascists. Fist Fascists.

  • FCC's Carr misleads public that it is a legitimate governing body

  • Being pedantic is totally OK here - we're talking about SSL's spoof protection. I'll have to look up how any rando can host a DNS that supports DNS/HTTPS when a system would be expecting a valid SSL cert that declares who it was issued to and by whom and the requester is expecting a particular whom.

  • This is the first I have heard of Murc's law. It succinctly describes the nature of American politics. It's uncanny.
