Respect the burrito.

  • I have an android DAP (music player) that runs Android 7. It's a box with a headphone jack (remember those?) and it's sole purpose is to play offline music from an SD card.

I side-loaded a few music players, because there's no way I'm putting my Google password in android 7 in 2024.

I'd be upset if I couldn't side load. These DAPs never have an up to date android.

Let's hope the music apps I use don't block sideloading.

    Poweramp won't. Musicolet?

  • Will the isochronous mode improvements help?

  • That's what I thought!

The real issue with Fat32 is the 4gb file size limit.

  • Hopefully people will reverse engineer the firmware and protocol so that the old devices aren't total landfill.

    Google have lost their mind...

  • Thankfully you can, yeah.

  • I really dislike those clock widgets. I have them on my phone for setting alarms. Much harder than just typing the time in.

  • Me too. I don't see the point. My life is already full of distractions and I bet the batteries in those are hard to replace when they inevitably don't hold charge any more.

    Buy g-shock, know time. Good.

  • What the hell is this? Half way down the page it becomes a crypto advert...

  • I can see it coming:
