Use your connectivity purposefully. E.g. how to train your cat to do X. Look it up, then spend some time doing that. Something come to mind that you’re wondering about? E.g. where does X come from, or why is Y happening? Do some research. Better than swallowing the fire hose of random stuff the algorithms are feeding you.
The only thing you’re missing out on is your own life. Don’t let the algorithms tell you what your life should be and what you should be thinking about. I promise you that if there’s something really important, you’ll hear about it and then you can do your own research on it.
Get something that has attack, decay, sustain and release and a few different waveforms. Practice with that. Might be more for synth design, so maybe get a sequencer. Have fun!
What in the world?? Get out of your head. You want to be intimate with her or not? You think she’s beautiful so you get nervous around because you don’t want a beautiful person to think poorly of you, or you don’t want to mess up chances of being intimate with them, or you are nervous about telling them you want to be intimate with them? Just tell them you get nervous around them and go from there. If it’s a work setting be very careful. If not, just say you think they’re beautiful and you get nervous. Then decide if that’s how you want to carry the relationship forward or make a move and see how they feel about you.
Because the system doesn’t work for the people and the oligarchy always wins. To be fair, things have been getting worse since Gen Z has been of voting age.
