  • Bluesky didn't have a strong of a hold on me, tried it, wasn't impressed with what was there before deleting the account. Getting too burned out on social media in general to really be invested in these kinds of platforms. The fediverse is more or less my last rodeo.

  • Considering the amount of damage some of the things cause to people, I really do wonder what lengths people will go to, to continue indulging on their brain rot. Yes please, bundle all of the shitty social media platforms possible and put a $40 tag on it. Let's see how many people are willing to pay, to spread their toxicity and radicalized ideas.   • People are underestimating the importance of eggs. While it's okay to go without needing to eat them on their own, they are usually essential for numerous baking recipes and other recipes in general. Like okay good for you that you don't need them or anything because there's other and better foods out there that can provide protein. Feels like every comment section where eggs is the topic, there's always a bunch of virtue signaling people or people lecturing others that they don't need it and go to their lifestyle anyways.

    Depression is a recurring thing, it comes back at anytime and it will level you when it does. What people who ever claim to have "defeated" depression or "overcome it" are simply confusing depression with general sadness. General sadness can easily be overcome because it isn't as much of a weight on you as depression is.

    But then you say something like that and some asshole comes right up to you saying shit like "now you're just gatekeeping what a mental illness is!".

    Fucking Reddit dumbasses are a piece of work.

  • It also tries to remove accountability from people who really do not care to pay attention to what they're doing. They'll be in shit and they'll think "ahh this is what God might have had planned for me" and instead of trying to fight to survive, they just succumb to it with that belief.

  • Too true. It's like, you casually watch anime and you try talking to some people about it. You'll mostly run into people who just binge watch series after series and they'll start acting like as if you need an encyclopedia at the ready to decipher what they're talking about.

    There's almost no in-between with lots of anime fans.

    But nothing will be anymore discomforting than some loser who will treat an underage looking character as their 'waifu'.

  • I don't like it and I don't necessarily have to like the people either who also happens to like that thing. It is a possibility. Just don't go around trying to find these people with the excuse of upsetting what they enjoy. Enjoy what you enjoy, shut up and go back to your damn corner.

    Anyways, mine happens to be EDM. I don't mind it, I always just held the opinion that it is way too same-y. There's thousands of remixes of this song and that song and they maybe change the tone, the tune or add a few more sounds. But more or less, it is just same-y. I know lots of people feel and love this kind of genre, I just only like it but I am not really losing my mind to it whenever I hear a few tracks.
