  • My oled phone from 2021 started slowly developing vertical lines of bad pixels this year and has some burn in on the status bar area. It's still usable, but definitely kind of annoying and a lot worse than the status of the lcd on the older phone it replaced.

  • Shaved legs, there's literally no practical benefit and it's so much effort but even if I wear long pants just having the knowledge I haven't shaved makes me so uncomfortable.

  • I think the best thing to do is to not block them when they're detected but poison them instead. Feed them tons of text generated by tiny old language models, it's harder to detect and also messes up their training and makes the models less reliable. Of course you would want to do that on a separate server so it doesn't slow down real users, but you probably don't need much power since the scrapers probably don't really care about the speed

  • Industria, I really really love it but it turns out it's not particularly well reviewed. I've always wanted a game that felt like Simon Stålenhag's paintings and that game is actually specifically inspired by his work.
