I have pretty much the same sentiment. I have had a couple interactions and they've been pleasant. I think I've run across a few comments they've made that were taken in poor taste but we're not inherently bad

Does your situation not allow a plugin ev? You don't need to rely on a charging station. There's a good video about people's "range anxiety" and breaks down why home charging is adequate for nearly everyone
