  • Sasquatch?

  • Ice Cube maybe.

  • What's up?

  • It'll still cost you $180,000 though, good luck getting a penny back these days.

  • I have a licensed seat of Solidworks on my work computer; that's where I learned to solid model. I also have an older pirated copy on my home computer but it requires Windows.

If I had to choose something free I would probably choose Onshape because it is very similar to Solidworks (it was created with help from one of the founders of Solidworks). However it sucks that all of your models are public.

Otherwise, the only viable option in my eyes would be Fusion 360.

I haven't tried it, but I know there is a plugin for Blender that allows you to do parametric modelling but I'm sure the options are pretty limited.

  • They certainly have a way about eating their shrimp.

  • Are you perchance, Australian?

  • I knew about the problems with Bambu long before I bought my new printer back in December. I ended up going with an Elegoo Centauri Carbon. It works out of the box without ever requiring you to set up an account, install an app on your phone, or connect to a cloud service. I just use mine with a USB stick.

I wanted to go with Prusa but the cost difference was too great for me at that time (I'm sure it still is).

  • Almost always, IME anyways. If you haven't seen Pet Cemetery, DON'T, because the kid hiding under the bed with the razor blade that will cut through your Achilles tendon might actually be there.

  • How long until Microsoft stops supporting Clipchamp altogether? Place your bets.

  • Logically, only during the Pan Farr though, right?

  • Just a heads up, mine took like 3-4 weeks to arrive so I wouldn't worry if it takes awhile.

  • I just bought a Centauri Carbon in December. It was a huge upgrade from my Ender 3 and I love it.

My only complaint is that the nozzle is part of the hot end and cannot be removed. Like many others, I ended up getting a clog that was difficult to remove.

I recommend getting a noclogger to make removing clogs much easier.

  • No.

  • Interesting but not a robot.

  • Melting water is not ice.

  • Then explain ice. Water stuck to water, but are you going to tell me that ice is wet?

  • Fake news; water only makes other things wet.
