  • in Washington State we have this problem near Hanford. The radio active particles are in the dirt and the wasps make nests or use the top layers of soil to make their hives and they bring those radioactive particles with them

we even have radioactive rabbits that cause the same kind of problems.

would be nice if the feds, who created this problem, would finance an actual clean up but I suspect it will take Mother Nature doing it over the next thousands of years

  • plug it straight into the PSU, just splice the wires. Make sure to use electrical tape!

  • now kiss

  • I have had a couple close coworkers die. It never goes away. My friend Mark makes it into my thoughts all the time and he has been gone now for over 10 years

Enjoy those memories. Mark's laugh is what I miss the most. Dude always had a laugh and would make you share yours with him.

  • I was a Seabee in the reserves. Heavy Machinery Operator AKA Truck Driver. I finished my duty obligation in July 2001 but when they invaded Afghanistan, my old unit was used for all the convoys. Of all the Navy guys that fell in that war... my unit was the most decimated.

I have heavy feelings about that.

  • 35 felt more weird

at 30, it just felt like being at the end of my 20s not really being in my 30s

  • fuck off with that complacency

there's so much underlying rules for private communication between computer systems, this type of thing is pure neglect boardering on international.

there's no reason to think everything online should be open and available. we should all be allowed to be in private spaces, especially if it's advertised as a private space

  • using Microsoft Word for too long makes me break out in Tourette's

Writer is so much more understandable

  • Have you tried the new slurpy machine? Fun will now commence!

  • I was wondering why my gaming PC didn't get the update yet... but then I remembered I installed the EU version of Windows on it... HA!

  • there's no SSD in this, that hard drive is in a bracket.

  • are you ready running an IDE drive?

  • I was hoping for

    Disco Bros and Warnervery

  • Consider this.... The Roman Empire still exists through Catholicism with Vatican City (in the city of Rome) as its seat of power.

  • I was in the area of his golf course near Aberdeen earlier this year. I also noticed a lot of the farmers collect the farm dung and move it, probably to a centerlized place to be processed.

my idea was to pay some of these drivers to leave a few mounds of the shit next to the signs directing you from the freeway to the golf course. And then maybe a drop a few more in strategic areas so that the smell finds its way to the course.

  • My garbage collection misses my trash a couple times a year. They have a service request line and if you contact them through it, they will usually make a special trip to pick it up the next day. (city of 500,000 in Washington State USA)

Mine gets missed because we use the smallest size bin (its the cheapest option and we recycle and compost more then we trash) and the recycle and compost bins are like 2x the size. So if I don't put the garbage bin as the first thing they see, sometimes it gets missed.

  • hot and cold aisle hvac is how we cool our datacenter

  • I feel like modern journalists really need to focus on the main logical fallacies and dissect these quotes pointing out how powerful they are at misinformation. People use fallacies offensively like this because it's effective.

  • I keep a box of the alcohol prep wipes near my printer. Give it a good wipe down before every print, does wonders. Sometimes when that fails, I clean the plate with dawn and water and dry it off really good. Then give it another once over with the alcohol

if you do a lot of PETG and PLA, you should probably make sure that you have different printing plates or surfaces. Because they won't play well together in the long term.
