  • pink floyd got most of their initial momentum from a single guy. at the time he is super popular and really good looking. a charming dude from all accounts. John Lennon and Yoko were at a pink floyd show before they met.

    so Syd Barrett is famous for a few things, Pink Floyd founding member / created the name. influenced the avente guard approach to music. was a king of the underground London scene. was on Jimi Hendrix first tour of England.

    But behind the scenes Syd took a lot of LSD and at one point considered to have taken more lsd than anyone else in the UK

    so he is kinda a fuckup party magnet and his personal relationships are failing so he scored a bunch of qualloods and takes the whole lot one weekend

    everyone who knew him say there's a Syd before that weekend and a person after but never did Syd come back.

    His solo stuff and the first two pink floyd albums are probably my most favorite

    I've been fascinated with Syd Barrett for most of my life. He even influenced The Damned when they recorded what is considered the first punk rock record

  • if it only happens with that filament, its probably just that.

    you could try some of the drying methods but that doesn't look good at all

    if you're sure the filament is good then you want to look at the print settings and physical tensions on the belts and gears. maybe you need to look at the spot where your printer is located. can it add any wobble? one trick in the prusa community is putting your printer on a heavy flat yard paver stone and a thin foam under the paver

  • have you done a temp tower with it? maybe it doesn't like your temp settings.

    I've used old filament plenty of times and usually it just gets stringy

    i think yours is a timing or temp problem

    probably worth noting that their Governor is Tim Walz, the VP candidate from the last election. One of the few Democratic Party members who is in the news constantly for criticism of the current President.

    Not that this has a chance to pass because the DFL controls the State Senate and the Governors office, but I be its a political ploy so they can say then need to remove Walz because he is mentally unsound.
